       Maybe Kenny will look again at the team passing backwards and
       sideways around their own penalty area, always scares the crap
       out of me. (Though we do it better than Ukraine..)
       Still, great result! Highest ranked side that NI have got a
       result against since Mr Shiels took over.

       Great result that should build confidence. I'm sure they were
       sat in the dressing room afterwards thinking they would have won
       it if it wasn't for the silly defensive errors

       After 15 minutes the audio becomes very fly-on-the-wall. The
       Northern Ireland bench can be heard like virtual commentary,
       shouting constant instructions to "Furney", "Wader", "Mac",
       "Reba" and the gang. Maybe the cameraman got the idea of
       dangling his microphone over the dugout...

       According to the BBC wbsite, the Ladies lost 1-0 to Romania this
       morning in the last of their 3 games in their Marbella training
       camp (11am k.o., our time).
       No further details, and nothing at all on the IFA website as
       yet.

       TBF to the IFA they did stream the whole game on YouTube. Goal
       came from a corner, poor marking by Callaghan. We hit the bar at
       least twice (I was doing some work) and generally looked the
       better team but they had chances too. The playing out from the
       back into central midfield is heart-stopping stuff against even
       the middling teams, the top teams will kill us if we insist on
       it.
