That isn't great for me. Midweek, during term time, in
Southampton which is one of the least accessible cities.

It's great for me (for a change).
I don't get the inaccessibility bit though - I've seen that
mentioned on Facebook. In my experience of living there or
thereabouts for most of the last 2 decades it's pretty
accessible.

I was surprised that the 3 matches are all at the one venue, but
it could work out well. I've applied for tickets through the
UEFA ticket website, I did see the there is an IFA portal
available sometime in November, so I'll probably apply through
that too.

November 2022? 😉 The UEFA portal is open until 16th
November. Does this mean the IFA portal opens after 16th?
Have I applied for “neutral” tickets on the UEFA portal then?
Obviously it would be better to be in the GAWAzone. Maybe there
will be some noise at St Mary’s for once!
Funny enough Tarabonga, I once happened across an orange march
in Southampton, so you never know!

Eastern Airways fly from the City Airport to Southampton but
they are expensive. I flew last week to Bristol and then took a
train to Southampton and it was fine. £37 return in the train
from Bristol to Southampton.

It’s worth pointing out that you can often get cheap advance
tickets from nationalrail.co.uk to Southampton Central. I have
often got £5 fares from Bristol Temple Meads and Gatwick. The
only downside is that you have to get a specific train. The
cheap fares are released about 6 weeks in advance.
