Burns lost the ball in the build up seems to be the catalyst for
it.
I think Mick McDermotts reaction seems very strange, seems to be
downplaying the seriousness of the incident.

He's a mentalist. He seems to be trying to make Bobby Burns
somehow culpable for it.

Aside from everything else the journalists let him away with it
too. When he was mumbling about not being able to zoom in the
interviewer should have plainly told him that it is obvious from
the footage that one of his players assaulted another of his
players with no obvious provocation and made the point that in
any other line of work such an assault would yield immediate
disciplinary action and management would be held accountable for
protecting their employees! McDermott is not Fergie, journalists
shouldn't be in fear of him

Glentoran fined £5,000 & ex-chairman Henderson facing IFA charge
over Beattie transfer
HTML https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61444197
Glentoran have been fined £5,000 by the Irish FA and the club's
ex-chairman Stephen Henderson charged with bringing the game
into disrepute.
The fine and charge are believed to relate to the transfer of
Kerry Beattie to Glasgow City earlier this year.
Both the fine and charge can be challenged under the rules of
the Irish FA's Disciplinary Committee.
Henderson has been charged with breaching article 17 of the
Irish FA's articles of association.
Who's been a naughty boy then?

Former Glentoran chairman Stephen Henderson banned from football
for six months by Irish FA
Former Glentoran chairman Stephen Henderson has been suspended
from football for six months by the Irish Football Association.
It is understood that Henderson has until the close of business
today to appeal the decision.
Last month Glentoran were fined £5,000 by the IFA and Henderson,
still a director at The Oval after stepping down as chairman in
May, was charged with bringing the game into disrepute.
It is understood the fine and charge related to the transfer of
Kerry Beattie from the Glentoran Women’s team to Glasgow City
earlier this year.
Under IFA rules, the fine and charge could be challenged and,
when that happened, the IFA Disciplinary Committee suspended
Henderson from football for six months and the £5000 fine for
Glentoran stood.
Essentially it means that Henderson cannot participate in any
type of football as an administrator, represent Glentoran or
attend IFA Council meetings until January 2023.
Ironically, at last Monday’s IFA AGM, sources say Henderson was
re-elected on to the Irish Cup committee.
Henderson was informed later that week he had received a six
month suspension from the IFA Disciplinary Committee meaning he
won’t be able to sit on any football related committees unless
he appeals and wins that appeal with the IFA Appeals Committee.
LOL. So how does this fine upstanding chap remain as a director?

Kerry Beattie set to return to boost Glentoran Women’s title bid
after leaving Glasgow City
So the player that was transferred to Glasgow City is returning.
I wonder will a fee be involved? LOL
Jeez, it must me so difficult for a chairman to keep track of
who is an amateur (no transfer fee) and who is a professional
(transfer fee) when the teams are separate entities. Even if the
chairman signs the registration forms for separate entities.
