       Glentoran

I see Glentoran made an absolute mess of the show of respect to
Prince Philip at the weekend, by not having a minutes silence.
They have now agreed to have a minutes silence before Tuesday's
       game.
Rumour has it that a number of players said they wouldn't play
if a silence was held before the game at the weekend.
Does anyone know what is going on there?

       game
That said, the rumours Mill is at full speed.

I have limited respect for the racist old scrote and much less
for the ludicrous cult around his widow but the Glens should
have just sucked it up 😀

I'm a blueman , I so obviously not a fan of Glentoran, but
unless it's true that players refused to play , and I doubt that
it is then it's a whole fuss over nothing.

Be interesting to see who's in the line up for Tuesdays game or
maybe suddenly an attack of tight hamstrings!!

       That's a good question.
I wonder will any of the glenmen on the forum come out of hiding
       to provide an answer?

Burns lost the ball in the build up seems to be the catalyst for
       it.
I think Mick McDermotts reaction seems very strange, seems to be
downplaying the seriousness of the incident.
