Very exciting that our ladies have the chance to qualify for a
major tournament. Would be great if they can end our losing
record in recent playoffs

Yeah, the second goal was taken superbly. The first was a gift
from their keeper but still had to be put away. They've given
themselves a good chance of making the finals now

Great result, Ukraine had majority of play from the parts of the
match I watched so still far from over.
Seems a great togetherness in the squad.
Such a shame we can't have a crowd for the second leg. Would
have attracted a big crowd.

That makes 5 consecutive competitive victories (we won't mention
the England friendly).
I've not checked properly, but I doubt our Men have ever done
that.

There's something about playing Ukraine that seems to suit us!
Fantastic effort from the ladies this evening. Kenny Shiels has
them set up brilliantly - very good organisation and tactics -
and every single player put her body on the line to secure
another famous win

Never took an interest in womens football before but I was
totally hooked on both matches in the play-offs. True, both
defences looked very dodgy - but that actually made it more
exciting. Brilliant performance from our girls, who are mostly
part-timers.
