       Interesting character who, I'll admit, I'd never heard of.
       Belfast-born, played for Cliftonville, capped by Ireland at
       rugby and travelled to the 1924 Olympics as part of the Free
       State's football squad.

       Could have been worse - he could have been shot in the arras at
       Wrist!
       And at least he had two fingers left to, er,     wave to the
       German who shot him.
