Glentoran signing Jay Donnelly already looking like one of the
least popular decisions amongst a club's fanbase in the history
of football. Is he really worth the bother?!

Doesn't seem to be many Glenmen happy about it. Usually with
these things a few goals and it's soon forgotten but the
decision to send him on loan means they might have to go through
all the fuss again when he returns on loan.
On a purely footballing level I'm not sure they needed him

I'm predicting that he won't play for the Glens, or if he does
it will only be a few games. I would be worried that some
sinister elements might have something to say. On that I hope I
am wrong.

Agreed. Even before the scandal, I don't remember him being hot
property in the football world.

The loan deal is cancelled so he's due to start the season with
Glentoran now.
