Oxtoby keeps saying they're going on a " journey ", to where
God only knows. They were excellent under Kenny Shiels and they
got rid of him. I think they've got worse under the Ox. Anyway
that's as far as they're going as Norway could give them a right
going over .

Agree 100%. I was watching the match with my daughter and we
were both longing for the Kenny Shiels days. She's only 10 and
can see that Oxtoby is a fraud.

Great goal that finally won the match but we got very lucky!
Thought our players looked nervous but also didn't seem to have
a clear game plan.
Also think it's a crime to be playing a winger (Wade) at left
back when Demi Vance could and should have been in the squad.
But it's still good to get through. There's zero expectation for
the Norway tie so hopefully the players can step up and play a
bit closer to their potential.

I'm sorry to say you may be right.
I only watched the first half of tonight's game, but I couldn't
believe what I was watching after Friday's game. Fair play to
Croatia, they really stepped up after the home game,. but they
shouldn't have been allowed to.
I suspect it may have been a psychological thing. That is, for
the first leg, Croatia were a bit overwhelmed and lacking in
confidence, so that when they got an early goal, they were happy
just to sit back and hang on for a 1-0 win.
While in Belfast tonight, as underdogs but level after the home
game, they had nothing to lose from going for it.
Which is all very well, but Oxtoby should have been saying to
her team: "Forget what they're trying to do, because you're so
much better than them, just go out and win the bloody game."
I fear for us against Norway.

Yes it could actually be embarrassing for us.
One positive note - that girl Danielle Maxwell knows how to play
football. The best player on the pitch by far - over both legs.

thought McKenna was good as well - the right side looks strong,
just like with our men's team
