Hahaha, I'd ship them! But I just had seen those gifs when I was
searching for the ones I first posted so they were still fresh
in my mind and knew where to get them :P

Joy/Tyler is one of my favorite IRL cast relationships next to
Paul/Joy and though I never shipped CH, there was something so
endearing about their banter. Even though Haley acted all huffy
and annoyed with him, I think she enjoyed his presence lol. That
back and forth playful banter is what I found was missing from
the NH relationship, and I wanted to see more cocky Nathan and
that overconfidence he used to have with Haley that way and I
guess that's part of the reason why I enjoyed most CH scenes,
alongside the fact that they had awesome chemistry.
I was sort of surprised in Season 9 to see that Chris actually
did seem to have some deeper feelings for Haley. I always just
got the impression earlier that he just enjoyed flirting with
her and that was the extent of it, since he seemed to enjoy
anything with T&A.

It's a very weird relationship he has with H. You're right in
that has has no standards; he'll sleep with just about anything
(I will keep my comments to myself re: a certain character back
in the earlier seasons) but yet somehow, I have always felt that
he held H in a different regard. And that seemed to be true when
he came back in s9. He was still chasing after anyone in a
skirt, but it was like he had this deep affection for H.
I'm making no sense here, I know. Ignore me. I just like to
think that C will always pant after H, like she's his model of
what he wants in life.

Oh, I love this! It's interesting how we all have different
perceptions. I remember loathing Chris in season 2 and thinking
Haley was just another girl to him and that he really just
wanted to get into her pants. My feelings only changed when he
actually sold his guitar (which was obviously one of the most
precious things to him) for her and when he tried to get NH back
together (despite how screwed up his plans were, LOL). And when
he came back in season 9 I think the writers really made an
effort to show that Haley was indeed special for Chris. I think
he will always look at her as "the one that got away" (and this
is just metaphorically because Haley could never get away
because he never had her, lol, but I hope you get what I mean).
If it weren't for NH and if I didn't love them so much, I would
definitely ship them.

I absolutely adored Joy and Tyler's chemistry on and off screen.
When it comes to the on screen dynamic , I thought it was always
evident as to how one sided it was. The writers tried very hard
back in S2 to make it into a triangle and the season suffered as
a whole because of it but as a hardcore NH fan , I never doubted
Haley's feelings towards Nathan. To be honest it was nice to see
someone out there other than Nathan acknowledge as to how
freaking great Haley was.
It was nice to see him come back in S9. I haven't watched all
the scenes that Chris was a part of as I just watched the Joy
scenes but it was evident even amongst them that Tyler's screen
presence is amazing. He was one of the few guest stars on this
show who did justice to his character and who the fans genuinely
liked.

Yup! I think anyone could actually see Haley didn't have
feelings for Chris and her heart was always with Nathan, but it
was a nice try by the writers to make us think otherwise.
And Chris actually became one of my favorite characters. I cared
more about him than most of the main characters.
Oh and btw, what are they doing in that second pic? ;D I
immediately thought of one thing, but I'm embarrassed to share
it. LOL.
