Loved this part as well!
Thank you for posting the picture JEV (I'm sorry, what is your
real name?) ! Yea, after seeing it, I guess it is better that
they didn't show him from the front. I'm sure lots of people
would be complaining about him not looking how they expected,
etc. I think if they had made his hair a little more spikey like
how it was in season 5 when Jamie was little, then it would have
looked more like how I would imagine a grown Jamie. It looks
like the sun must be shining in the actor's face so his face is
all squishy, so it's still kind of hard to tell.

on Brooke and give her the focus she may not have had in Lucas'
book and if that had been what happened, I wouldn't be against
it at all. However, what I didn't like was the way he just
simply erased key moments of the show and included himself in,
stealing moments that, originally, belonged to other characters.
I saw it as a way of saying that what Brooke went through in
high school and with other boys was just rubbish and that she
would've just been better off if she had met him right away
when, actually, I think everything she went through during those
years defined who she eventually became - the woman he loves.
And that's just something he cannot erase. And shouldn't. And I
think he did it partly to feed his own ego and fight his
insecurities. The whole idea was pretty cute and if he had
focused on Brooke and her journey, that would've been fine. It
was the way he twisted things that bothered me. But that's
obviously just my opinion as well :)

I agree. Rewriting the history in the last couple of seasons
rubbed me the wrong way. Julian adding himself in the show was
the last straw.
OT, the only thing missing in the last scene was at least some
reference to Lucas and Peyton. Maybe include them in the
flashbacks...

Yeah, I agree. LP definitely deserved at least a reference. Or
even a phone call, it was so easy to come up with something if
they actually wanted.

Favorite: NH throwbacks, there were so many and it was nice to
FINALLY get scenes after a season of almost nothing.
least favorite: The tv show crap. Ugh.

I loved NH, the compilation of scenes at the beginning, all the
throwbacks and Chris Keller's scenes with Naley.
Hated: the tv show crap, Julian writing himself in to the show?
Ugh... Oh and Brooke never wrote a diary! Too much Cheller!
Through the whole season we got zero Naley family scenes while
Brulian had at least one in ever episode.

Well i liked the Brulian family scenes, we got screwed out of
her pregnancy and the birth at least give us some family times,
Naley fans have had 5 yrs of family time we only got 12 episodes
with Brooke and her family.

Theoretically, that's true, but I'm forced to disagree if you
look at it in practical terms.

Of course. I will analyze each family scene since season 5 until
season 9. Just give me time to put things together.
