Favorite: Julian bringing Brooke to her old house, telling her
it's their new home.
Least favorite: It's a tie between the Chase/Chris overdose or
the NH dinner/rain stuff.

Very interesting thread.
Overall, I really liked the finale. It was far from being
perfect but now that it's been over a year I can look at it and
be satisfied with it. But there were things that annoyed me a
lot.
My favorite things were most definitely all the throwbacks to
the first seasons: NHB looking at their younger selves, Brooke
and her old house, the NH throwbacks, Haley/Jamie paralleling
with Karen/Lucas and the ending shot with Jamie being the Ravens
new star was cute, too.
My least favourite were the Chris/Chase useless scenes, the
ridiculous amount of time wasted on music and Julian's tv show -
mainly because that was a way of rewriting the history of the
show to feed his ego.
So basically, I loved the things that had to do with the core 3.
Other than that, meh, not really.

I loved everything Brooke and Julian, I never saw it as feeding
his ego i saw it as focusing on the other girl in the book since
everyone else seemed to forget she was the other half of the
book, lucas focused on peyton julian on brooke, least favorite
is also a tie between Chris/Chase or Naley just couldn't stomach
either one. But like everyone else this is just my opinion.

I must say I found it really cute that Julian wanted to focus on
Brooke and give her the focus she may not have had in Lucas'
book and if that had been what happened, I wouldn't be against
it at all. However, what I didn't like was the way he just
simply erased key moments of the show and included himself in,
stealing moments that, originally, belonged to other characters.
I saw it as a way of saying that what Brooke went through in
high school and with other boys was just rubbish and that she
would've just been better off if she had met him right away
when, actually, I think everything she went through during those
years defined who she eventually became - the woman he loves.
And that's just something he cannot erase. And shouldn't. And I
think he did it partly to feed his own ego and fight his
insecurities. The whole idea was pretty cute and if he had
focused on Brooke and her journey, that would've been fine. It
was the way he twisted things that bothered me. But that's
obviously just my opinion as well :)

I agree with that part i just didn't want to have people think i
was rambling on and on, i think everything she did go through
did make her the woman that he fell in love with, but i didn't
like him trying to put himself into the story cause that part
wasn't right at all. that part was trying to feed his ego, But i
agree with everything else you did say. Thanks for wording it
the way i wanted to first time just alittle early for me.

Naley's scenes as well as all the flashbacks to season 1 were my
favorites. For someone who was never a fan of Quinn and Clay
until the last season, I love love loved their scenes with
Logann.
I also wasn't a big fan of all the Chris/Chase stuff, accept for
Nathan buying Chris's guitar back. I was also really bummed
there was no reference to Whitey. He was always the Mr. Feeney
of OTH to me and I kept waiting for them to talk about him in
the final season and I don't recall it ever happening. And not a
major thing, but since we got to see all of the other kids grown
up in the flash forward, I was kind of curious as to what Jamie
looked like.

Love this! And I completely agree - I would also like to have
some reference to Whitey.
And, apparently, a friend of the actor who played older Jamie
posted one of his photos when he was on set. If anyone's curious
to know how older Jamie would've looked like:

> For all the One Tree Hill fans that were also upset with the
fact that they never saw older Jamie’s face in the finale, this
is my friend Markus. He played older Jamie. We both attend
UNC-Wilmington and another friend and I went with him to the set
to shoot that day. This is a picture of him sitting outside his
trailer with the Ravens jersey on!

Now I get why Joy told James "that kid looks nothing like us"
when she first saw him. LOL.

I loved that in the end went Tric, with Gavin Degraw singing
their songs, and the characters singing together, I simply love
the scenes in Tric, loved Naley kissing in the rain. Chris
Keller singing was amazing, the conversation he had with Haley
and Nathan, I love Chris Keller, his return was the best thing
that happened in season 9
I didn't like Peyton and Lucas not appear and not Jamie's face
