Oh, LOL I'm so smart. At least it's already here. I intended to
post the screencap of the tweets (and I'm working on getting a
few to post in the opening post of the twitter/FB/instagram
thread) so this one's already done.

So I was on Dexter daily to see if there were any more filiming
pictures. in the comment section someone said this:

I know a guy working on the show as a sound guy, he says she is
going to have a nude scene. That kinda sucks.

It might be a load of rubbish as it is only comment from a fan.
I can't see her doing full frontal nudity. It could just be sex
scene where you don't see much as Jennifer Carptener had scenes
like that S1 and you didn't see anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if she did have a nude scene.. I think
Joy is more comfortable with herself now, more than ever before.
When she was with Michael, she was very conservative and
wouldn't even where a bikini on OTH because her body "belonged"
to her husband. I think that entire family was critical about
her career and very judgmental about how a wife should and
should not behave. Now she is with Wes, who has done show all
nude scenes in the past. I remember one interview where he said
something along the lines that physical nudity is easy for an
actor; it's being exposed emotionally that makes acting
challenging. I'm happy for Joy and her new found liberation, and
I think this is the perfect way to shed the pure HJS image and
to open herself up for bigger and better opportunities:)

I agree it good she feels comfortable in herself. if she wants
to do nude scene that's great. It's just quite a change and
it's not really a reliable source.
While, i'm not bothered if actor or actresses choose to do nude
scene, i feel a lot of the time it's not needed. That's just my
two cents though.

I care way less about the nudity and more about her character.
As a Dexter fan, I'm dying to know how her character will play
out with the rest of the plot/cast. It's true that almost
everyone at some point gets nekky (to varying degrees), but
whatever. I mean, it's not like she's getting naked on OTH
(mwhahahaha, funny image).

I agree with you, I was also thinking about that the other day,
how she seems more comfortable with herself and her body. I
wonder if that nude rumor is true, it seems like a unreliable
source, but you never know.
When is the new season of Dexter starting? Do I have time to
watch all the seasons until then? :)

^ June 30th. Well, I guess that depends on how much time you
have to watching shows ...? It's not impossible, but ... maybe
not enjoyable, especially if you don't like the show? (Or you
might love it in which case it'll be an awesome marathon month!)

If I did my math right, there are 74 episodes, and I have 72
days, it's possible, but I will only watch everything if I like
it, otherwise I think I will only watch the last season... :)

That's a good idea. It's a great show, but definitely not for
everyone. If nothing else though, watch the last 2 seasons to
get an idea of what's going with Dex/Deb. That will factor in
big time this season, I believe.

I personally have always felt that Joy's previous approach was
limiting. One had seen her sporting a bikini on GL and I think a
lot of her fans have seen the swimming pool scene from GL as
well. Knowing what we know now , I wouldn't be shocked if her
approach to acting changed as a result of her marriage to
Michael. In a way I'm glad it happened while she was filming on
OTH. It seemed like people didn't even need an excuse to strip
on that show. IMHO , there is nothing wrong with nudity as long
as it is essential for that particular character. If it is
something that is being done for frivolous reasons then I
obviously understand an actor not wanting to be a part of it.
