Homeland is probably the best show on television right now.
Claire Danes did infact get a GG for it. If I'm not wrong she
won last year as well.

I think she'll be in more the couple of episode as she's got
love interest! I'm so excited for her as she'll be introduced to
a whole new audience. Apparently the season average for viewers
is 6.4 million. that's great!

In terms of more recognition, I don't know. Sure, if she is
amazingly WOW stellar, but the problem w/premium cable is that
not everyone watches it. You have to pay extra, so the audience
number drops. Up until 2 months ago, I would've agreed that
Homeland is the best show out there, but then I watched s1 of
HBO's Newsroom. SO GOOD! Like, SOOOOOO good.

Her love intrest on this one isn't that bad looking either :P
I haven't watched Newsroom as yet but I have definitely heard
great things about it. Wasn't Joy tweeting about it awhile back
too? I just caught up with S1 of Girls a few weeks back and now
can't wait to watch S2.

I've tried Girls but just can't get into it. It's like, ok I get
it. You have a lot of "ugly un-glam" sex and you're edgy. Got
it. Now what??

Haha! I think it is one of those shows which people either love
or really hate. I liked where S1 went so waiting to see if S2 is
just as good. I never watched Sex And The City all that
religiously so I kind of surprised my self when I ended up
liking Girls.

I don't have Showtime so I'm not really familiar with the show
and/or other shows of the network, but apparently the show is
quite mature. I think it'll definitely be an interesting
challenge for Joy :)

I just figured out that Joy will have a love interest in this
show as well. The actor of last resort could play her date based
on this link, i guess.

I love Girls, at first I was not so sure about the show, but
when you get to know the characters it's good. And I don't get
the Sex and the City comparisons, just because it's a HBO show
in New York and about 4 girls.
Anyways, I love that Joy will be on Dexter, I never watched that
show, but I'm going to start from the beginning and see if I
like it. Thankfully, it has only 12 episodes per season, I was
scared when I read that she is going to be in the 8th season,
who is going to watch 7 seasons of a show with 24 episodes (how
long a regular season is), lol...but 12 episodes is fine, if I
like the show. We'll see, but at least I'm going to watch Joy's
episodes, if I don't like the show. :)
I think it's great that she is moving on from OTH to a different
thing, it will be interesting, I can't wait. :)

I haven't watched Dexter either. I'll probably just end up
watching the scenes she is in :P
Joy is so freaking talented. The girl has so much potential and
I'm glad that she is getting oppurtunities to showcase all that
talent. As a fan I don't think any of us were ever sure as to
what she was going to do once the show got over so all this
still feels a little surreal..lol! It seems like she always had
this drive but it just got suppressed for sometime and now she
has found her groove again :)
