^That is definitely a good approach. I don't know anything about
him either. The part that I find the most endearing about him is
that he has been there for her during a lot of this ordeal. A
lot of guys out there probably would hesitate to date someone
who is a single mom so for me that says a lot about him.

Another thing, with the whole cycle of abuse thing and people
continually ending up in abusive relationships, I really hope
Joy gets the counseling and emotional support she needs to make
better decisions about the people she surrounds herself with.
She tolerated Michael's douchebaggery for years so I hope she's
better able to identify negative people and distance herself
from them.

I agree with you about Joy almost apologizing about her
ambitions, especially around season 5 and 6, she always talked
about being a wife and having a lot of children after OTH, she
never talked about her ambitions about acting, singing and her
career. I think it is great that she wants to have a big family
and a lot of kids, but not in that environment.
I think it is a plus that Wes is in the same business as her,
but that doesn't mean anything, it's about how two people in a
relationship communicate, approach a relationship and try to
make it work.
Wes seems like a great guy, I don't know him obviously, but
being with her in these tough times, speaks volumes, and another
thing is her having a child from a previous relationship, a lot
of guys would not be comfortable with that, especially with such
a little kid, even though he is older and more mature, some guy
would still be scared of that, so that is a big plus for Wes.
And he is really hot with that scruff. :)
I hope they stay happy and in love for a long time. :)

Yup, I agree with this. I obviously think Wes looks really good
and from the little I've seen from him, he does sound like a
good guy - he seems to support Joy not only in her professional
life, but he also stood/is standing by her side through this
rough time she went/is going through and, most importantly, he's
with her even knowing she has a child of another man. I'm not
saying that should be an issue, of course not, but not every man
would be comfortable with that and I think that just shows he's
a mature guy. And that's why I appreciate him. However, the
truth is that I still have no idea who he is and the man
obviously isn't perfect so I'm waiting for more things to come
up so I can better judge him. Until then, I'm trusting Joy's
judgment. I just don't think she would lightly let a man be near
her daughter if it wasn't something serious, even if I don't
know Joy, either. LOL.
But I can't deny they look really cute together and at the end
of the day I just want Joy to be happy.

yeah..so true! maybe it's too early for us to judge & also for
them to start 'new' stage further in their life.
i do agree that i really like this guy ;D..but who
knows,right?because we do not know much about him. There's a lot
of things to take into consideration such as both of their
family's background etc..(just saying, considering Mike Sr. :P)
Based on IMDB web, Wes seemed come from a 'good' family
background- good profession, well educated etc, but again, who
knows, right?LOL....what is going on with me being so obsessed
with Wes considering my hatred to Joy's ex :P SORRY..whatever
it is, i really hope the best for Joy, Wes and also Maria :-*

I think it's normal for us to be excited, mainly because Wes was
the ultimate sign that Joy has moved on from the hell she went
through this last year. At least that's how I look at things.

It's great that she is happy, but I doubt they will get married
so soon, as someone said on the page before.
She just got divorced and they are not together for that long. I
doubt Joy will rush into anything, mostly because of Maria.

I should hope Joy wouldn't rush into marriage, even if Maria
wasn't in the mix. Not something to take lightly! For now, I
just want to see more pretty pix of the happy couple! Gasp. I
want to see them out at some event with black tie formal wear!!!
