Lulz.
I was going through some pictures of Wes at some events and some
of the pictures had me rolling. There's one where he's holding a
bottle of hot sauce lol.
In a way (because sometimes it can get messy) , I think it's
nice that Joy is dating someone who understands her career and
the kinds of pressures that they have to face. It's nice to be
with someone who can empathize.

Poor guy. He just really likes hot sauce. But hey, I won't
complain. If he was promoting these in a supermarket, I'd take

I think this is true, esp if both parties are "equals." Like,
you don't have a mega movie star with a little nobody or
whatnot. It always seems to work out better when both careers
are about even. You can speculate as to why that may be but I
think most logically speaking, it's just harder to really spend
time together/grow together when one is always
working/promoting/traveling and the other is at home staring at
the wall.

^Staring at the wall...lol! I think equality is definitely
important but I think it all differs from one relationship to
other. I agree that being in the same field definitely makes
things eaiser but I also think sometimes that brings with itself
other issues to the table as well. I don't think the problem
here was that Michael wasn't an actor. I think the problem here
was that he basically did nothing . One can see as to how his
attitude rubbed off on her as well. Joy had this drive in her
which is so evident now and was before she married him but while
she was with him , she seemed to almost apologize for being
ambitious if that makes any sense. She wasn't nearly as vocal
about it as she is now.
Wes seems like a sweetheart. He seems so chilled out and fun!
Not to mention it is great to see him supporting her when it
comes to her career.

^ Yes. Good point. I guess what I was trying to say is not that
they have to both be actors, but both be like-minded in their
drive and ambitiousness. For example, if Joy acted and Wes
decided to throw himself into teaching or something. I could see
that still working out.
I'd also like to say ... prob. bc I'm kind of wary from the
Michael revelations ... while I think Wes is hot and he and Joy
are adorable together, I reserve judgment on him. I don't know
him. I don't know their relationship and I don't want to be all
gushy about him/them before anything more comes to light.
