I personally think that's even better for the both of them. I
think it gives them a different stability than being with
someone they would've just met.

It sounds like they became friends as she was leaving G.L and he
was coming on and then their lives went in different directions.
I wonder if they stayed in touch while she was married and on
OTH, or if they started hanging out again when she moved back to
LA.

i doubt they did. i'm not white knighting michael here (hahaha)
but i doubt he was the reason. life just gets busy when you're
out of each other's orbit. we all know this to be true, i'm
sure. add a busy career, different coasts, a baby, and a husband
in the mix ... not likely.

She stayed in touch with PAS if I'm not wrong. I remember her
tweeting about losing his e-mail add to someone who was going to
one of his broadway shows. I don't think her and Wes stayed in
touch though. She wasn't even aware that the guy was in L.A at
the time they started tweeting each other.

I don't know if it's me being weird, but honestly, I'm still in
like, a state of shock lol after everything that transpired with
Joy in the past year. I NEVER expected to see her with any other
man other than her ex, even though in the back of my mind I
always had a feeling that they weren't going to last. I wasn't
shocked necessarily by her divorce (just the timing) but I just
didn't imagine we would see her out and about with someone else.
I don't know if I'm making sense.
And I really wasn't expecting her to move to LA and audition
again, at least for a long, long time. I had actually resigned
myself to the fact that she would probably disappear like a lot
of people do after leaving shows that went on for a long time.
I'm still surprised she'll be on Dexter.
And I'm really pleasantly surprised by her and Wes. Since he
seems like he went with her to the concert in NY in November, it
seems like they've been together since then. And I think she
tweeted him about catching up sometime in August? It's kind of
sweet how things happened.
Has Joy ever tweeted PAS?

Yup, it all just seems like a rollercoaster. As joyforever said
in another thread, you can never expect anything from Joy
because she'll find a way to surprise you. LOL.

Yup..Yup..Yup. Surreal would probably be the word I'd use to
describe it all..lol! I have to say I was certainly shocked when
it came to her divorce. She had obviously mentioned that they
had gone through their fair share of ups and downs but one never
thought her relationship would be as screwed up as it turned out
to be. There were plenty of rumors about their relationship
within the fandom itself , I think a lot of people didn't see
them as being compatible to say the least , some had even hinted
at him being controlling and how everyone in his family was
basically living off her pacheck and what not but I think that
was brushed aside for the most part just because one didn't know
the extent of how bad things were for her. She was honest about
the ups and downs but she also mentioned as to how wonderful and
amazing he was. The fact that she put up with it all for six
freaking years is what is most shocking.
I didn't know what to expect when it came to her career after
OTH. Joy is so unpredictable that you never know. I certainly
didn't expect her to move to L.A for sure but once she went
public with the divorce announcement , I couldn't see her living
in Washington. Her family is in L.A and I also couldn't see her
going back and forth for auditions and stuff considering she is
now a single mom.
She did tweet him back in Aug. Soon after she tweeted him , he
tweeted something about old friends reuniting or something on
those lines.
She has infact tweeted PAS. I can't remember what it was about
though.

Wes and PAS probably know each other too and were possibly
friends as well then. And based on a fan encounter that was
posted here a few days ago, he obviously knows Abigail Spencer
as well. I hope if they have a series finale event for Dexter
this year, Joy goes and takes him with her. There should be
something happening because it's the final season. And I
partially want them to go to a new event together because I'd
like to forgive him for the utter travesty that was his outfit
at the Laker's event. He's partially forgiven because he's hot
but I know he can dress better.

Aw, I found their little friendship really cute. There is
something so adorable about PAS.

^I know! He is so cute. I loved her and PAS together. I have
seen a lot of their scenes on youtube and IMHO their chemistry
was even better than Joy and James' and that is saying a lot
considering how amazing her and James' chemistry was..lol!
BTW , where is this fan encounter posted?
