I'm all for comfort clothing and summer dresses..lol! but this
was a red carpet event. I love the color and the necklace she
sporting there though :D

Exactly. I feel like this was too informal for a red carpet
event. And she had been doing so well so far.

Actually from the looks of it the event was very casual, it was
held mostly outside during the daytime so Joy's outfit was
appropriate and compared to the other attendees it was actually
quite dressy - you can see pics from the event here:
