YOU HOW ENGLISH ARE ACTUALLY CRAZY ABOUT TEA:
1READING BOOKS IS NOT MY CUP OF TEA.
2 I WOULDN'T GO OUT AFTER 5PM FOR ALL THE TEA IN CHINA.
3 ACTION MOVIES ARE JUST MY CUP OF TEA.
4 WHY DID YOU BUY SO MANY CHINESE CRAYONS? THEY ARE AS GOOD AS
A CHOCOLATE TEAPOT.
5 I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS SAYING. HE IS IN HIS CUPS.
I CHALLENGE YOU TO GUESS THE MEANING OF THESE EXPRESSIONS :)

How did you celebrate Easter?
The holidays are over for the time being, so I would like you to
continue working.
Dobro, nastavljamo dalje... Stekla sam utisak da su vam one
recnice bile teske u vezi pasiva, pa sam resila da dam malo
jednostavnije:
1 People usually paint red eggs for Easter.
2 Some kids have already eaten all the eggs.
3 The whole family celebrated Easter 2019 together.
4 We are preparing Easter lunch now.
5 The families in Serbia will celebrate Easter at home.
Obratite paznju da je kod pasiva bitan objekat, tako da uvek on
dolazi na mesto subjekta u pasivnoj recenici.
Sledi glagol be, tj.mi treba da ubacimo glagol be. Rekli smo da
je on bitan, jer upravo on pokazuje da neko/nesto trpi radnju.
Za present simple passive, on ima oblike : am/is/are
Za present continuous passive: am being/ is being/ are being
Za present perfect passive: have/has been
Za past simple passive: was /were
Za future passive: will be
Zatim sledi glavni glagol koji nosi smisao recenice. Ako je
pravilan (ed,d nastavci), ako ne- treca kolona
Subjekat pisemo samo ako je bitan.
U proslom zadatku imali ste:
People make pasta of flour and eggs.
Pasta is made of flour and eggs (by people - ne mora jer
subjekat nije bitan)
Ali: The Assembly has brought up a new education law.
A new education law has been brought up by the Assembly.
Assembly kao skupstina jeste bitan subjekat.
Uradite ovih pet recenica do petka. Napisite u vasim sveskama i
prevedite. Slikajte i saljite kao i dosad.
Zamolila bih ucenike koji mi dosad nisu poslali nijedan domaci
da to sada ucine!! Jer sam ih vec ocenila negativno na
tromesecju (brojcano ili opisno)

Hello my dear eight graders :) Hope you are well!!
Here is a short assignment for you:
Read the text Join Us! carefully (SB,p 78)
Then, make a list of the things you would like to change in
your life!
Finally, do exercise 3 (SB, p 79). this exerice has to do with
the words from the text.
Moguce nepoznate reci:

to deal with- baviti se
challenge- izazov
disabled children- deca sa posebnim potrebama
people in need- ljudi kojima je potrebna pomoc
to throw away- baciti/odbaciti
a devoted friend - odan prijatelj
to look on the bright side- gledati na svetliju stranu
to fill in the application- popuniti formular
A kako razumete izraz: A mind is a terrible thing to waste!?
Do this homework till Thursday!!!

Now, I am up to continue dealing with your book.
What I would like you to do is the following:
Students book, p 79.
Ex2, match the organizations with their definitions
Ex4, write the missing parts of the sentence
Ex 5, complete the sentences with the proper word.
In this exercise you will notice the expressions with make
For example, sentence number 1 : The story makes me understand
how important our help is.
Primeticete da iza [i][i]make [/i]nema to, vec samo glagol.[/i]
Evo primera: This situation about the corona virus really makes
me feel nervous.
Naravno, iza glagola make mogu da stoje i pridevi, ne samo
glagoli.

So, for your HOMEWORK DO EXERCISES 2,4,5 IN YOUR BOOKS, P 79.
ALSO WRITE WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL HAPPY/ SAD/ANGRY/ RELAXED. CHOOSE
ONLY ONE THING TO WRITE ABOUT!
