Hello, this is Katy Wagner. I have completed all of the prelab
except for finding beta from the graph. I worked on this for a
       while and couldn't calculate it.

Hi Katy, this is Thomas Parsley.
I calculated my simulation Beta using a load line from the
output waveforms. In the lab 7 documentation, there is a picture
of an example load line. There were two points that are shown on
the example for the load line. One was where Ic = Vcc/Rc and the
other was where Vce = Vcc. For my Vcc, I used 5V because it was
       specified in the theoretical analysis.
Once I had my values calculated, I drew the load line in PSpice,
starting from where Ic = Vcc/Rc to the point where Vce = Vcc.
I then found the Q-Point of this load line. From the lab 7
documentation, this can be found two ways, either where Vce =
(1/2)Vcc, or where Ic = ~(Desired Ic). Since our (Desired Ic) is
0.5mA from the theoretical analysis, I found the point on the
load line where Ic = ~0.5mA. the point where my load line
intercepted with one of the Ib current waveforms and where Ic =
       0.5mA was my Q-Point.
I have the example of this that I talked about previous attached
       as an image.
Then I used the Ic value from the Q-Point and used the Ib value
from the intersecting waveform to calculate Beta. The equation I
used to to this is attached as an image as well.
I hope this answers your question!
