In the old village of Kanda, Georgia, six people enter an
unfinished Orthodox Church to sing the Trisagion hymn. Their
voices rise up in Georgian and Aramaic as a foreshadowing of
what will take place when the Church is finished. Regardless of
whether or not you can understand these languages, the language
of beauty rings clear; it ushers us into an awe-filled space
where we are invited to join in singing “Holy God, Holy Mighty,
Holy Immortal, have mercy on us."[/quote]

Thanks Maria for sharing:)
Of course I did not understand what they sung, but as you said I
didn't need to in order to enjoy it.
This autumn I went to Denmark on vacation and one day I was
fortunate enough to pay a visit to a old Catholic Church that
fell into the hands of the Protestants during the reformation.
The church where build in bricks/ stone and it was beautiful.
I realised that I where alone in the church so I began to sing.
I chanted The ''Tantum Ergo'' and ''Salve Regina'' in Grogorian
style and it was so beautiful for me (my voice isn't pleasant by
any means, but the feeling was great if you know what I mean).
It where probably the first time in 500 years that those Chants
had been singed in the church.
I really felt the Holy Spirit working inside me at that point
and the heartfelt glory of God.
It was by far the best moment of my vacation no doubt.
sorry if I'm rambling, I just felt like sharing my experience.
Thanks again Maria it was beautiful!
