Suggestion for MPF: Loyalist Brainwashing

I am not sure if what I hear is true, but apparently when you
surpass 01 in the MPF, you are neutered. This just makes no
sense to me. I suggest a better course of action if the goal is
to stop any means of reproduction among the high command. I
propose a loyalist brainwashing. This will solve many more
issues than neutering will at once and ensure stability in the
higher ranking units.
1. This prevents unauthorized intercourse. By making a high
command unit brainwashed to obey all of the laws in the
Universal Union, you basically make them lose the urge to
reproduce at the same time. This makes the unit care little
about intercourse, rather than make them worry about the fact
they lost an organ from their body.
2. It prevents high command from becoming corrupt. If you were
to make high command units undergo a loyalist brainwashing, they
would be forced to repress any ideas of undermining the
Universal Union. This means that no matter how hard they tired,
they would fail to commit a crime, therefore making them
incapable of corruption.
3. It encourages role-play. People will have a somewhat
challenging decision once they become an 01 and have the ability
to become high command. They will have to sacrifice their
emotions for the greater good of their own union. I do not mean
a complete suppression of their emotions, but enough to make it
so that when they have to make a choice that can make the
difference between breaking a law and not breaking a law, they
will be incapable of letting their emotions choose for them.
I think this is a better idea than just neutering a high command
unit. It also makes these units more interesting and much more
closely valued by the Universal Union.
PS: I noticed that there is also not an area for formal
suggestions. It would be nice to have that.

You have some really strong points and I think your reasoning is
valid, however I think the argument falls a bit short by
thinking that "brainwashing" fully determined a unit's loyalty.
Units, especially upper have been in the UU for a long time and
have undergone many background and data checks.
I don't think someone can be as dismissive to say "every
high-ranking unit gets brainwashed.", I really don't think this
would be standard protocol. However, it's also fair to say they
would not all be neutered.
Different situation, different protocol.
Think it really all depends on the administrator and the DVL'S
opinions towards 03 and 01's being autonomized.
I suggest, that neutering is used as a warning to punish units
that decide to partake in unauthorized sexual acts.
Also, I think that DVL'S and OTA'S will generally be trans human
enough to not be able to reproductively function, as the
manufacturers will deem it unnecessary.
Very little of this is canon, just elaborately, so feel free to
argue it!

HRU Gets their... Dings cut off not because the union doesn't
want them to reproduce (Not that you even can) but they get
their genitalia removed as it is a weakness (aka Citizens aim
for their private parts). genitalia gets removed as it has no
purpose to the body but to reproduce. And about the suggestion,
I believe there is already a system like that, aka every rank
you go up you get brainwashed.

Surgically removing the nerves isn't impossible to do. They can
keep their genitalia and now, anti-citizens aiming for their
genitalia would have a pretty rough time getting through with
that.

Actually, to remove the nerves from the genitals would basically
mean you would literally have to deconstruct the genitalia to
the point where it barely resembles one anymore. You'd have to
cut off all the skin, and replace it with a prosthetic. Cutting
the genitals off and using a Cathoder would be much easier to
do, and would be much less painful.

I actually think that is a good point, Devildogairman. If a unit
shows disloyalty, brainwashing could be used, but if they were
to commit unauthorized sexual activity, then neutering would be
the way to go. This makes the punishments more specific and it
does not ruin the character completely. While I do think
brainwashing all high command is smart, it also is not in terms
of character development. If a character is suppressed of many
emotions, it makes it hard to role-play properly.
In short, perhaps making brainwashing and neutering a punishment
rather than a requirement to join High Command.
