[ACCEPTED] Sgt. Salvador's MPF Application
DIR By: Sgt Salvador
Date: October 18, 2017, 7:57 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Steam name: Sgt. Salvador
Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:27835911
How long have you been in HL2RP in terms of years?: About 6
years, possibly 7.
Are you familiar with this system? If not, are you able to
adjust accordingly?: Very familiar with the system, and am
willing to adjust to changes accordingly.
How familiar are you with MPF role play?: I am very familiar
with Metro-Police Force RP.
Have you read the guide thoroughly? Are you capable of having
the guide open always for reference on what to do?: I have read
the guide, but not thoroughly as most of the info I have seen on
it I am already familiar with. I always have it open at all
times when I am on the server.
Do you understand that you cannot do anything that could
possibly be considered "rogue" without explicit authorization
from the Civi-pro faction leadership?: I do understand.
RP EXAMPLES
You're on patrol with another unit. Suddenly you get a radio
transmission from Dispatch announcing that the unit in your PT
is now labeled autonomous. What do you do?: I would act
accordingly. From the use of the word Autonomous in this
context, it'd be my belief that the unit is now incapable of
free will, when previously they were not able to act in their
own volition. I would proceed to call backup before proceeding
to detain the unit if possible, and if absolutely necessary, I
will perform a field amputation if said autonomous unit puts my
life, or my any other persons life in danger.
While patrolling alone, you are approached by a twitchy citizen.
The citizen keeps trying to get close to you. What do you do?:
With my stunstick equipped, and active, I would continuously
back up, warning the citizen to desist following me after
reporting it and calling for backup. If said citizen does not
cease their actions, I will draw my firearm and send a shot to
an area on the citizen's body to pacify them, which will usually
be their leg. If the citizen is pacified after this action, I
will then detain, and charge accordingly. If the citizen is not
pacified after the shot, I will be forced to perform a field
amputation, as they are considered now considered 10-103.
In Distribution Block 7, you are approached by a citizen armed
with a stunstick. He is running at you. What do you do?: I would
immediately draw my field-issued 9MM H&K Pistol, as they are
approaching me with a potentially lethal weapon, immediately
discharging it into the citizen's torso as many times as
necessary, as they are an immediate threat. Once the threat is
either pacified, I will report it via radio. If the citizen is
simply incapacitated due to the injuries caused by the firearm,
I will secure the stunstick first, then detain.
You and another unit are patrolling near Residential Block One
when a malignant discharges at you, wounding your counterpart to
some extent. What do you do?: I would attempt to retrieve the
other unit and drag them to any safe place nearby, where I may
radio for backup and return fire. If no safe zone is nearby, I
will be forced to retreat to a safer area, where I may call for
backup, and return fire. I will not pursue the malignant unless
they are entering a populated area, and only when my counterpart
is stabilized and HELIX is attending to him/her.
The unit who was shot in the most recent gunfight is wounded
badly and obviously will require a great amount of medical
attention to save his life. What do you do?: If the firefight is
still proceeding, and said unit will require large amounts of
medical attention, which will result in time in recovery to be
effective, I will be required to label the unit as a miscount,
and end their life. If the unit requires a great amount of
medical attention, but can still be effective after said medical
attention is done, then I will call for a HELIX unit to assist
the unit, then provide protection, while still remaining an
effective squad member.
You are on patrol and you hear a fistfight in one of the
residential blocks. Dispatch isn't currently active, but it
sounds serious. What do you do?: I will radio for backup for a
possible 10-15 and label it Code 2. As they are no units inside
said Residential Block, due to the fact that a biosignal would
be available in the Block, I will await for units to arrive on
scene, before entering the RB. A fistfight between two citizens
is not as important as me risking my life to enter the RB alone.
During a random search of a suspicious citizen, he turns and
runs before you can tie him. You chase him for awhile until he
runs into Restricted Block Four. What do you do?: I would cease
pursuit and immediately report it through radio, as I am not
permitted to enter Restricted Block Four by myself unless given
express permission by a Priority Zero.
While out and about, you hear a transmission on the radio from
Dispatch: "YOURTAGLINE-1, suspend 10-41 status. Proceed to High
Priority Region One for Revitalization Processing." How do you
respond?: I would respond with "10-4 Dispatch, I am 10-17 to
HPRO for RVTP." Upon arrival of HPRO, I will radio in
"MYTAGLINE-1 is 10-7 for RVTP." awaiting response from Dispatch,
before ending my service for a given amount of time.
IC SECTION
Name: Nick Valeesh
CID: #95060
Why do you wish to enlist in the Civil Protection?: I wish to
enlist in the Civil Protection as my life as a citizen is beyond
awful. I want to pick myself out of the gutters of the streets
of the City and gain some respect for myself, as well as help
the human race evolve from their barbaric manner.
Do you have any family? Explain: I do not have a family any
longer, as I was an only child. My grandparents perished long
before the Union took control of Earth, my parents died not long
after from natural causes.
Have you any previous infractions with a Protection Team member
in the past? Explain.: I do not have an infractions with any
Protection Team member in the past.
Do you understand that failure to effectively do your duty as a
Protection Team member puts your family at risk?: I do
understand.
I, Nick Valeesh, swear my life into the Civil Protection in
service of my family and my species, and understand that failure
to effectively do my job will put my family's safety at risk,
and contrary-wise, efficiency will lead to their safety and
comfort.
