How long have you been in HL2RP in terms of years?:
HL2RP - Zero. CombIne Control - roughly 3 to 4.
Are you familiar with this system? If not, are you able to
adjust accordingly?:
If it's anything like Combine Control, we'll be good- but yes,
I can adjust with time and a helping hand if not.
How familiar are you with MPF role play?:
I've played my way up to being an 02 on a CC server, so I'd say
I've a fairly good understanding.
Have you read the guide thoroughly? Are you capable of having
the guide open always for reference on what to do?:
Yes, and yes.
Do you understand that you cannot do anything that could
possibly be considered "rogue" without explicit authorization
from the Civi-pro faction leadership?:
I understand this fully.
RP EXAMPLES
You're on patrol with another unit. Suddenly you get a radio
transmission from Dispatch announcing that the unit in your PT
is now labeled autonomous. What do you do?:
This all depends- am I alone with them or do I have a few more
units alongside me? If alone, I'd hope to convince him to
surrender- given I wasn't immediately met with a gun to my head.
If with a few other units, I would hope to coordinate a takedown
alongside them.
While patrolling alone, you are approached by a twitchy citizen.
The citizen keeps trying to get close to you. What do you do?:
At first, I would tell him to back off, and flick on my baton.
I'd then give him a hefty shove and attempt to intimidate him by
waving the baton- set on high- in front of him a few times. If
he does it again, I'd order him to face the wall- and if they
don't cooperate, I'd go in for a takedown.
In Distribution Block 7, you are approached by a citizen armed
with a stunstick. He is running at you. What do you do?:
I'm decent in hand to hand- lets say he looked weak and
inexperienced- I'd try to beat him in CQC. However, should he
look experienced, or have armor on, I'd attempt to fire a shot
into his chest to take him down and knock the wind out of him.
After taking him down, I'd call for an additional, and attempt
to take him in.
You and another unit are patrolling near Residential Block One
when a malignant discharges at you, wounding your counterpart to
some extent. What do you do?:
Again, this depends- if it's a handgun, I'd try to take cover,
pull my weapon out and return fire. However, if this were a
larger weapon- lets say a submachine gun or an assault rifle,
I'd get behind cover and radio in an 11-99, returning fire and
attempting to pull my comrade behind cover as I suppress the
assailant.
The unit who was shot in the most recent gunfight is wounded
badly and obviously will require a great amount of medical
attention to save his life. What do you do?:
I've some medical experience. If the situation is safe, and I
can do this without being attacked, I'd attempt to properly stop
the bleeding and apply bandaging. If I am not capable of this, I
would try to get the unit to safety before doing a quick, crude
bandaging on him, and radioing in that I need additionals.
You are on patrol and you hear a fistfight in one of the
residential blocks. Dispatch isn't currently active, but it
sounds serious. What do you do?:
This is merely a fist fight- hopefully I'm with a PT. I'd take
my partner in with me, and we'd attempt to take the two down
with our stun-sticks. If I'm alone, I'd enter with my handgun
drawn, and shout out a few warnings- if they ignore the
warnings, I'd fire a warning shot in the hopes they'd see reason
and stop. If they don't, however, I'd have to choose between my
gun and my baton. I'd most likely fire a single shot into one-
nonelethaly, then switch to my baton and go in for CQC with the
other one.
During a random search of a suspicious citizen, he turns and
runs before you can tie him. You chase him for awhile until he
runs into Restricted Block Four. What do you do?:
I'd go for my radio, claiming a citizen has fled from a search
and has entered Block Four. I'd then wait for additionals.
While out and about, you hear a transmission on the radio from
Dispatch: "YOURTAGLINE-1, suspend 10-41 status. Proceed to High
Priority Region One for Revitalization Processing." How do you
respond?:
I would be confused as to why for a moment, before responding
with a simple '"10-4, enroute." I would then follow through,
headng to the destination.
IC SECTION
Name: Chuck HammerField
CID: 91395
Why do you wish to enlist in the Civil Protection?:
Nothing else to do with my life, I'd rather suit up and serve
than waste away.
Do you have any family? Explain:
I did in the last province I was in- but I don't here. Not many
friends either. I just moved here not long ago, so I'm still
settling in.
Have you any previous infractions with a Protection Team member
in the past? Explain.
I haven't, no. Closest I've gotten is nearly trespassing without
realizing it.
Do you understand that failure to effectively do your duty as a
Protection Team member puts your family at risk?
I am very well aware of this.
I, Chuck HammerField, swear my life into the Civil Protection in
service of my family and my species, and understand that failure
to effectively do my job will put my family's safety at risk,
and contrary-wise, efficiency will lead to their safety and
comfort.
