How long have you been in HL2RP in terms of years?: Four years
or so.
Are you familiar with this system? If not, are you able to
adjust accordingly?: Yes, very much so.
How familiar are you with MPF role play?: Almost all of my time
in HL2 RP has been dedicated to MPF.
Have you read the guide thoroughly? Are you capable of having
the guide open always for reference on what to do?: Yes, and it
will be in my steam browser.
Do you understand that you cannot do anything that could
possibly be considered "rogue" without explicit authorization
from the Civi-pro faction leadership?: Yes, I completely
understand.
RP EXAMPLES
You're on patrol with another unit. Suddenly you get a radio
transmission from Dispatch announcing that the unit in your PT
is now labeled autonomous. What do you do?: I would turn on the
unit, and immediately raise my weapon. I would then tell him to
face the wall. If he resists I would attempt to disable him. If
he complies, I would attempt to put him on the wall and radio in
my 10-20 to other units. After more units arrive, I would be
able to restrain and strip him as I then have the chance to
lower my weapon.
While patrolling alone, you are approached by a twitchy citizen.
The citizen keeps trying to get close to you. What do you do?:
After telling the man to back up, if he lacks compliance, then I
would tell him to get on the wall. If he still chooses to not
follow my orders, I would force him to the ground and restrain
him after calling backup to my position for a possible mentally
unfit or dangerous man. I'd wait for backup, where I would then
put him on the wall and proceed to search him for any weapons or
drugs that may be making him act this way.
In Distribution Block 7, you are approached by a citizen armed
with a stunstick. He is running at you. What do you do?: I would
grab for my 9mm pistol and attempt to raise it. If I got it up
in time I would shoot to disable him, but if that isn't possible
then I would fire at his upperbody to kill. If he's disabled,
then I would call for backup and then proceed to restrain him
and strip him of anything else that might hurt me or another
unit.
You and another unit are patrolling near Residential Block One
when a malignant discharges at you, wounding your counterpart to
some extent. What do you do?: I would pull my counterpart to
cover and radio in that we were underfire in Residential Block
One. I would then draw my pistol and attempt to supress fire at
the malignant, until backup arrives and we are able to start
firing critical shots. I would also radio in that my counterpart
is injured and call for a HELIX, or get my counterpart to as I'm
busy with combat.
The unit who was shot in the most recent gunfight is wounded
badly and obviously will require a great amount of medical
attention to save his life. What do you do?: I would inspect his
wounds, and then radio in for a HELIX unit. I begin to take out
my medical kit and start doing basic medical procedures, like
using medgel and putting pressure on the wounds. Once the HELIX
arrives I would leave it to them, and tell them of the current
situation.
You are on patrol and you hear a fistfight in one of the
residential blocks. Dispatch isn't currently active, but it
sounds serious. What do you do?: I unholster my weapon and radio
in for backup to my 10-20. After doing so, I move in as there
isn't time to waste. I gun point all of the individuals involved
and ensure that they keep their hands up and get onto the wall.
As backup arrives, we restrain and search them and then bring
them to the nexus for questioning.
During a random search of a suspicious citizen, he turns and
runs before you can tie him. You chase him for awhile until he
runs into Restricted Block Four. What do you do?: Block four
isn't a area I can enter alone or without permission, so I radio
it in and await further orders from someone who has authority
over the block.
While out and about, you hear a transmission on the radio from
Dispatch: "YOURTAGLINE-1, suspend 10-41 status. Proceed to High
Priority Region One for Revitalization Processing." How do you
respond?: I send my acknowledgment over the radio and then
proceed to Region One as fast as possible.

Why do you wish to enlist in the Civil Protection?: I wish to
enlist into Civil Protection to keep the peace in our great
city, and to serve the benefactor's to my best ability. As a
Civil Protection unit I hope to easily fulfil my position and
make sure the city and it's population is always under control
of the union and it's laws.
Do you have any family? Explain: I did before the war, but I am
unknown about their whereabouts.
Have you any previous infractions with a Protection Team member
in the past? Explain. No, I have not.
Do you understand that failure to effectively do your duty as a
Protection Team member puts your family at risk?: Understood.
I, Jack Morris, swear my life into the Civil Protection in
service of my family and my species, and understand that failure
to effectively do my job will put my family's safety at risk,
and contrary-wise, efficiency will lead to their safety and
comfort.
