[ACCEPTED] Caleb Schwartz's MPF Application

How long have you been in HL2RP in terms of years?: I have been
playing HL2RP for about 5 years.
Are you familiar with this system? If not, are you able to
adjust accordingly?: Yes.
How familiar are you with MPF role play?: Very familiar. I have
ran servers before and I have roleplayed as a high-ranking
officer many times, as well as many low-ranking units.
Have you read the guide thoroughly? Are you capable of having
the guide open always for reference on what to do?: I have read
the guide and I will have it readily available to reference at
any time that I need it.
Do you understand that you cannot do anything that could
possibly be considered "rogue" without explicit authorization
from the Civi-pro faction leadership?: I don't plan on turning
my character rogue, but yes I understand that I would need
permission to do so.
RP EXAMPLES
You're on patrol with another unit. Suddenly you get a radio
transmission from Dispatch announcing that the unit in your PT
is now labeled autonomous. What do you do?: I acknowledge the
alert from dispatch and then unholster my pistol as fast as
possible. I then aim my weapon at the unit and tell him to get
on the ground. Once the unit is on the ground, I proceed to
disarm the unit and then ziptie his hands together. As soon as
the unit is detained, I send out my 10-20 via radio and let
dispatch know the unit was apprehended.
While patrolling alone, you are approached by a twitchy citizen.
The citizen keeps trying to get close to you. What do you do?: I
unholster my stun-stick and tell the citizen to face a wall to
inspect him due to his behavior. If he continues to approach, I
unholster my pistol, aim at the suspect and tell him to freeze.
I then radio in my 10-20 and request backup for a potential
10-96. If the citizen continues to approach in a threatening
manner, I open fire on him until he is no longer a threat.
In Distribution Block 7, you are approached by a citizen armed
with a stunstick. He is running at you. What do you do?: I
quickly unholster my pistol, aim at the citizen and order him to
drop the weapon and get on the ground. If he complies, I radio
in a 10-78 in DB7 for an armed citizen. If he continues to run
towards me, I fire at center mass until the suspect is disabled.
After I confirm that the suspect is down, I
You and another unit are patrolling near Residential Block One
when a malignant discharges at you, wounding your counterpart to
some extent. What do you do?: I immediately take cover behind
the nearest suitable object/wall. I then radio in "11-99 code 3,
10-20 Residential Block One. Shots fired." I then proceed to
unholster my pistol and return fire towards the hostile citizen.
Once backup arrives, I provide covering fire for the unit(s)
while they find cover. As soon as the hostile is eliminated, I
go to my partner and assess his injuries.
The unit who was shot in the most recent gunfight is wounded
badly and obviously will require a great amount of medical
attention to save his life. What do you do?: I immediately radio
in "11-41 at my 10-20 for a hit unit." While waiting for medical
assistance, I apply biogel (if available) and bandage the bullet
wounds to stop the bleeding.
You are on patrol and you hear a fistfight in one of the
residential blocks. Dispatch isn't currently active, but it
sounds serious. What do you do?: I radio in "10-91E at my 10-20.
Responding." I then proceed to unholster my weapon and approach
the fight. I demand for the citizens to face the wall. Once
backup arrives, I switch out my gun for my stun-stick and then
tie up the citizens. I then interrogate both citizens to find
out what happened and distribute appropriate punishments.
During a random search of a suspicious citizen, he turns and
runs before you can tie him. You chase him for awhile until he
runs into Restricted Block Four. What do you do?: Due to the
dangerous nature of the restricted zone, I explain the situation
via radio and await orders. If ordered to wait for backup, I
wait for backup and then proceed to pursue the citizen. If
ordered to dismiss the situation, I return to patrol.
While out and about, you hear a transmission on the radio from
Dispatch: "YOURTAGLINE-1, suspend 10-41 status. Proceed to High
Priority Region One for Revitalization Processing." How do you
respond?: I radio in "Copy, 10-76," and then proceed to the
point of interest.

Why do you wish to enlist in the Civil Protection?: I love our
city. Our benefactors provide everything for us, and I feel that
it is only right to give back. By joining the Civil Protection
team, I feel that I will be able to give back in the best
possible way: keeping everything in order. Without order, there
is chaos, and I want to help maintain that order. Furthermore,
the recent increase of anti-citizen activity provokes me to want
to stop them and keep the city safe.
Do you have any family? Explain: All family that I know of has
either died or I have not made contact with them for years
Have you any previous infractions with a Protection Team member
in the past? Explain: No, I do not have any previous
infractions.
Do you understand that failure to effectively do your duty as a
Protection Team member puts your family at risk?: Yes, I
understand.
I, Caleb Schwartz, swear my life into the Civil Protection in
service of my family and my species, and understand that failure
to effectively do my job will put my family's safety at risk,
and contrary-wise, efficiency will lead to their safety and
comfort.
