zero just looked at him with terror written all over his face
"how do you know th........GAAAAAAAAAH!!" zero yelled as the
space around him exploded. the explosion sent zero crashing
into the ground a ways away from his previous area. he tried to
move again but there was still no reaction "DAMN IT!!" he
screamed again.

Laughing as the explosion tore across the flesh of the girl, the
small green dragon quickly tripled in size and kept the boy
pinned down, providing a shield between him and his master. The
girl continued to approach the incapacitated son of flame. "How
do I know? Why would how I came about such information matter,
the state of affairs is that I know who your mother is. It has
been a while since I observed the daughter of flame. I presume
that you and thy sister are in good health." The grin on her
face contorted more malicious. "This is besides the point for
today. Today, I need something of you, it shall be done with or
without your consent." Gripping the athame tighter the girl set
the small pile of gems next to her feet and took the boys hand.

knew his body wouldn't react

The blade was swiftly dug into the boys palm, liberally coating
it with his blood. "I will let you go....once I determine if
your sample is pure enough. Or would you prefer i take it from
thy sister?" Turning to pile of crystals she picked one up and
let a drop of his blood fall onto it.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" he screamed in pain as the blade was dug into
his palm. on the mention of his sister his fear became anger and
rage "I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU TRY AND TOUCH HER!!" he bared his
fangs and his eyes became reptilian

The girls smirk twisted more cynical. "Did I hit a nerve son of
flame? Should I get what I need from you then I will have no
need to go to your sister." No fear in the violet eyes as she
dropped his blood on the crystal in her hand. Within the blood
red crystalline structure a bright flame danced within. With a
smirk she sank the blade back into his palm again and let the
blood drip on the pile of stones, alighting them all with the
same bright fire. "Who would have known thy flame would have
been so pure. Now the real question...would thy sister's have
been as bright? Or would it have been tinged with something
darker?"

No morethan an angry growl left zero as the blade was plunged
once again. Into his palm "pure you say...." zero gave an angry
smirk "our flames are far from pure" his ruby red reptilian eyes
became dark like blood and black fire danced in his mouth "I'M
JUST ABLE TO CHOOSE WHICH TO USE!!" Zero opened his mouth and
released a jet of black flames at the dragon holding him down

The girl continued inspect the gems as the flames began to show
the darkness in them as wisps intermingled with the golden
orange that had been in them. "You can choose which to use,
what a unique lizard you are. I could study you more, or I
could learn everything about you and your family in a fell
swoop." As the fire crashed into Gyges the green dragon's eyes
turned to a mix of green and bright red. Turning more and more
demonic by the second he breathed a gas meant to dissipate the
flames from the boy and keep the paralysis further. The
dragon's form beginning to shift a violet glare turned to him.
A clear, keep calm, glare was given to the dragon as the
skeletal winged form sat down above the boy.

zero cut the flame. sheer surprise in his eyes "gas?.......no"
he looked from the girl to the dragon in dispair. tears filled
his eyes ".......no"

At the look in the despaired dragon's eyes the girls lips
quirked upwards in pure amusement. Sparks clear in her eyes as
she say him start to put things together. "Something strike a
chord with you son of flame?" The green dragon sat back on his
haunches utterly demonic eyes staring down Zero like he was
food. The girl however kept those icy violet eyes locked on the
reptilian ones of Zero. "I believe I should like to learn more
about your families....more recent doings. Now the question,
how to go about obtaining the information I desire."
