The thread begins to snap [afternoon, clearing, open-ish]

A lone clearing stood hidden deep within the trees. The light
shone through the leaves making shadows dance around the whole
area. Lya walked into the area and began the prep. Her bag was
set down near a tree, and she gathered some loose timber.
Starting a fire she began to trace symbols in a circle on the
ground. An athame was unwrapped from a deep purple cloth and
set near the fire.

Lya looked up from her preperation as Jestin entered the
clearing. Giving him a small smile she let the fire continue to
burn and headed over to him. [color=blueviolet][i]"Hello
again."

Lya looked down, worry hidden behind her darkening eyes.

Lya nodded and handed him the blade. [i]"Alright....what this
spell should do.....is open all the elemental pathways in my
body. Its been used by my family, generally in times when they
needed a power boost. However it might be able to reopen the
light pathways. I'm going to need to take some of my blood for
this and put it into the fire. One last thing.......if this
gets out of hand. Promise me you'll knock me out, stun
me.....kill me....whatever it takes." she held out her hand for
him to take the blood from, while she stood near an area
shimmering lightly as if something had been set up there.

jestin took the knife and began flipping it around doing tricks.
when she spoke of killing her if something went wrong he nearly
dropped the knife on his foot "i don't know about killing
you.......i'll stick with just knocking you out or something, im
pretty sure someone would miss you" he rubbed his head and
positioned the knife over her palm "here we go" he cut into her
palm deep enough to cover about an inch of the blade in blood
"please tell me thats not too much!?!?"

She sighed as he dropped the knife and his following words.
[i]"As long as it doesn't get out of hand, thats all I ask."
She winced lightly as he drew the blood, but shook her head.
[i]"No thats not too much. It will be fine. Now if you
wouldn't mind dropping a drop on the etchings in the ground and
then more into the fire." She stepped back into the shimmering
area and her movement ceased.
