As the whispers became but the faintest of breezes again, the
sound of her own footsteps once again reached her ears. The
feeling of the beckoning piercing her very core seemed to only
grow as she walked. However her gait slowed for a moment at the
familiar face. Despite the darkness, the faintest of flushes
crossed her cheeks, yet it was gone as quickly as the memory
faded away. "Don't go?" Her thoughts circled about in the fog,
barely making it through the din of the whispers. A hesitant
step, and she followed their call......towards the house that
called to her.

as she walked onward another familiar face was passed. it was
Kenro, he smiled softly and blushed " One day....maybe i will
truly be able to tell you how i feel........but you have to
stay, Don't go" his hand caressed her cheek but nothing could be
felt as he also faded away. "Come..Go..Follow" the whispers came
from the house now that was directly in front of her. the door
was open but the inside of the house was pitch black. but even
so it felt as if something was watching her from that very
darkness. "Come..Go..Follow..." the whispers say "...Don't Go"
Diggs and Kenro voices now said. "Come..Go..Follow""Don't Go!!"
Come!!..Go!!..Follow!!""Don't
Go!!""COME!!..GO!!..FOLLOW!!""DON'T GO!!" the voices seemed to
fight against each other, getting louder and louder aiming for
dominance of being heard "Come.......Go.......Follow" came from
the darkness inside the doorway now "Please......Don't Go" came
from behind her where Kenro and the rest of her friends stood.
Kenro held his hand out beckoning her back "....please" he said
softly....pleadingly.

Again as the familiar face was passed Lya's steps slowed once
again. The second face brought her steps to a momentary halt.
[i]"Kenro?" Her voice was soft as it escaped her lips, a
distinctive blush settling over her cheeks. Her head moved on
instinct into where Kenro's hand would have been. As he faded
away, and the voices began their call again, she peered into the
darkness. Her very being being pulled, the feeling of something
inside was so strong. As the two groups of voices began to
fight for dominance her head began to ache. Both called to her,
both pulled. She looked back and forth between the darkness and
her friends, her hands on her head as the volume grew. Shaking
slightly she began to fall to her knees as the volume reached
its peak, her head instinctively drawn as kenro smiled, while
his voice pleaded.

the darkness waited no longer. it reached out and pulled her in,
blinding her in pure dark. as if opening her eyes there was
light. she was standing in the lobby of the building. around her
feet were the lifeless bodies of her friends. who could have
done this? a mirror sits across from her, her reflection was
unlike anything she had seen before. her eyes were pitch black
and her clothes were stained with blood, was she the one to end
her friends life. the Reflection smiled at her and looked at her
blood covered hand "poor poor lya.......trapped in a struggle
with her very own conscious" she tsked and licked the blood off
of one of her fingers "that kenro fellow......he begged ever so
much for you to stop.....he wouldn't even bring a hand up
against us.......so so sad, boo hoo" she made a mocking cry face
and drew a tear on her cheek with the blood on her hands.

As the darkness wrapped around her she struggled only lightly as
her mind continued to spin. As her surrounds came into focus
she gasped instinctively. Her friends.....why were they here,
in such a state? The sight made her stomach turn instinctively.
As her eyes came to the mirror her blood ran cold, her own
reflection almost more terrifying than the scene itself. She
trembled slightly as she stared at herself.....listened to her
speak. [i]"Who says im trapped." It was a lie and she knew it,
but she couldn't admit to it. [i]"I......killed Kenro?
No.....I couldn't have....he wouldn't just......" Her mind was
screaming out as she tried to process it.....tried to deny what
lie before her.

the other her cupped her face and shook it " i am your
darkness.....i am what you THOUGHT you had under control.....i
am your true self......." she bent down and lifted diggs head up
so that she could see he was still barely alive ".....and i am
soon to be.........." she whispered into diggs ear and kissed
it. she gave lya a sadistic look and snapped diggs neck. the
world went back to normal. she was standing where she had stood
in the abandoned town before things went awry.

Lya stared wide eyed at herself as her face shook. [i]"My
darkness?" Her words fell silent as the other spoke her final
words and ended Diggs' life in the sadistic fashion. As she
blinked and it was gone, she shook violently as she looked
around the town. [i]"That....that's not the real me. I'm in
control.....right?" Her voice was shaky as only the wind
answered her with whispers. Within moments she was bathed in
darkness and was gone.
