She quickly created several metal shields but due to using her
powers too much after so long the shields were weak and broke
apart letting the clubs hit her and knock her unconscious.

"wow" jestin mumbled as he looked on the lab, being a child of
magic. a laboratory was not something that he sees a lot. jestin
began to step closer until he heard something coming down the
stairs. he murmured a spell and his body began to camouflage
like a chameleon. unseen jestin made his way back toward the
stairs and waited

Dio walked into the same room that Jestin was in, Jestin fully
camouflaged. The lab was expansive, the whir of the machinery,
and electronic hum from the computers completely filled the
space.
As the girl fell to the ground unconscious Gyges' smile twisted
further. A single hand reached for her, turning her upside down
and shaking her until the necklace fell from her pocket.
Snatching the trinket unceremoniously from the air and clutching
it close, his eyes turn to the girl's sullen, motionless face.
"SiLLy GIrrL FfFaALLL LIkeEEEEE SMAALL BIIRddIE TOOO WEEEaK FLY!
EEeVeN BIirDIE ABLE FFly! GGYYYGGGGEEESSS SHoooOOW HOOOW!" With
a flick of his wrist, Gyges tosses the fragile form high into
the air, catching her by the arm as she descends. Turning fast,
the massive hand bruises and crushes her flesh with brutal force
and a sharp, unnatural snap ripples through the forest as bone
separates from bone. Seconds later, the girl's limp form
disappeared from view. Landing about halfway up a path towards
the hill, her body came to rest against a tree. Her arm clearly
dislocated, a bruise rapidly covering the vast majority of her
hand. The demon grinned one last time, throwing a branch
against the winged boys form and disappeared with the necklace
into the darkness.

Not aware of Jestin being camouflaged, Dio passed by him down
the stair and notice the doors to the laboratory. Looking in, he
suddenly quickly ran inside to take a look at the machines
without hesitate, rushing around to inspect the machines and
search for any documents dating any works of progress. "She
really is an alchemist... Dammit! No matter how they are, death
always follow them somehow, be it themselves, or the victims..."
He emphasized the word death, one could tell there was hatres in
his left hazel eye, which was unusual as Dio was stoic most of
the times.

as dio entered the room jestin reflexively attacked. his hand
erupted with a violent purple energy as he made a motion to toss
it at dio. finally realizing it was him jestin calmed the energy
and brought his arm to a rest as he made himself visible "you
were almost worm food.......again"

She groaned in pain, consciousness returning she gasped in pain
as she tried to move her arm "Damn it that hurts." she rolled
onto her lesser bruised side and managed to push herself into a
sitting position. She looked around wondering how long she'd
been out Long enough for that creature to get away with that
necklace I guess she thought and then shook her head. "No time
for that I need to assess internal damages and decide if I have
enough power to create new skin and bones." she examined the
bruise going down her arm, to her hand. Her free hand felt her
shoulder was dislocated which could easily be reminded without
the use of her powers along with the minor cuts and scrapes.
Instead she decided to focus her powers to making herself
comfortable, the black bars surrounded her. Running her good
hand through her hair black ribbons formed, pulling her hair up
into two ponytails on the sides of her head while another ribbon
circled her neck. Her clothes changed into a black and dark red
dress with unattached sleeves gong down her arms. She changed
her shoes to a pair of black ballet flats. She stood up,
carefully holding her arm as the black bars vanished. "Much
better, why my memory less self feels comfortable in jeans and
that trench coat is beyond me." she muttered and looked around
for Kazuya.

The whir of machinery was all that could be found in the lab.
If the keeper of the place had notes, they were not left out for
those unwelcome to stumble upon. The lab continued as it stood
as the two interacted.
Kazuya's unconscious form remained near the river, a fair
distance from where the girl had landed.

Dio jump in surprise and turn to face jestin, seeing who it was,
he calmed down but then he became tensed at his words. "Just...
don't mention it." He kicked one of the machine hard enough to
leave a dent after unable to find any notes relate to her works.
"Dammit!" he sigh softly, still trying to calm himself from
unpleasant memories this place brought as he try to figure out
what other places the alchemist could've hidden... that is if it
wasn't taken first.

jestin, if anything he understood the frustration "i wonder if
theres a spell that could help us out?" he mumbled and thought

She saw he wasn't in her immediate line of sight. "I believe he
was thrown...that way." she muttered and began walking in the
direction of the river. "What is that necklace for, could it be
a tool that woman or whoever needs to finish the plans? Such
plans do not sit well with me, I hope the others are having
better luck than Kazuya and myself." she sighed softly.
Once she found him she knelt down at his side and used her vines
to lift him and turn him onto his back. "Kazuya you need to wake
up." she said, shaking him with her vines.
