The pendant was alarmingly smooth to the touch, and it carried a
coldness to it. As the two remained there the lab continued its
shut down, a few of the machines exploding in a violent fashion.
There were a few rustling leaves in the forest near the two, but
nothing seemed to be approaching.

jestin jumped in defense as one of the machines exploded "....i
think its time to go" he headed toward the exit, staying clear
of the machines in case they exploded some more

Dio felt the strange feelings from the stone but his thought was
interrupt by the explosion. He nodded to Jestin's words and
follow him, also trying to stay clear of the machines as well.

Kazuya followed after her. he keeping his eye on the ground
waiting for something to pop up. a small rectangle box of light
in his hand.

She relaxed slightly and flew in the direction the alarm had
come from. Silently wondering how much power she'd be able to
use in her current state. Not much, it's been awhile since the
last time I've had to fight using that power. she thought.

More and more of the machines began to self destruct, the
explosions shaking the rundown house. Even the stairs were
treacherous now, in the attempt to escape.
At the top of the hill, there were streams of smoke billowing
into the air from the small cabin. As they flew the sounds from
the ground beneath them lessened more and more.

"Shit" jestin cursed as he stumbled up the faulty stairs, he
looked back at dio "gotta hurry" jestin picked up his speed into
a light jog, still trying to be cautious. He rammed the door
open with his shoulder and made his way past the dead womans
body

Dio gritted his teeth as he almost stumble into one of the
explosion from the shaking, which slowly made his bandages
around his head coming off from the impact, but he was too busy
trying to keep the charm in his pocket safe. As they pass the
dead woman's body, he took one last glance at her body but keep
his focus on Jestin and the charm's safety.
