Soothing Sounds (night, open)

Claudia let her bare feet dip into the water, shivering only a
bit at the cold. Eyes closed she hummed softly and let herself
absently float over the water, her wings twitching every so
often.

Garfield walked out of the ocean, his clothes hung off his body.
His eyes were red and his hair clung to his face.

Sensing something she opened her eyes halfway and looked around.
She saw Garfield and wondered why he was out at this time of
night Should I check on him, Metri would probably worry if
something were wrong...though I don't necessarily care she
thought and sighed softly. She lifted her feet out the water and
began to fly over.

Garfield started to empty out his pockets when his ears moved
and his head snap towards cloudia." Oh, hey sunshine..." he
fished out his now destroyed phone, soaked wallet and
headphones." What are you doing out here so late?"

"That would be my questions, more so since you are emptying out
water logged objects." she said and landed on the sand, she let
her wings vanish. "So why exactly are you out here?" she asked.

She nodded "Hm hopefully not a teacher I liked." she muttered
and looked up at the sky. "Well hopefully for the next time you
go on a mission it won't go so terribly and all of you come back
alive and moderately well."
