"IS the darkness holding more souls hostage, more than are
unable to move on and are trapped here?" she asked, knowing
either way the darkness would need to be taken care of but the
kids were her first priority.

Sune jump in surprise, realizing one of her lantern went out and
notice her surrounding like she was in a void. "I wonder if I'm
alone..." she felt uneasy now after hearing something and the
strange taste... She look at all of the doors as well as the 6ft
tall opening, which got her thinking which one to try... "I
guess this one... wonder why it felt as if it trying to take my
life away from me... what the hell is going on here..." she
mutters as she walks toward the 6ft opening and peers in...

The man sighed softly and nodded. "I will not lie, there are
others. This hospital saw many deaths, with many things for the
darkness to latch souls onto. There is a reason it has grown
so strong." His gaze cast into the darkness, a bit distant.
Looking into the opening, almost nothing could be seen. Utter
blackness, and a steep slope. The fall off could definitely be
all the way to the bottom of the building. The suffocating
darkness began to swirl around her feet as something slowly
began to drain her energy. Soft footsteps could be heard,
though no direction could be pinpointed.

She frowned as she looked at him, "Are you also being held
captive here?" she asked softly before a determined look formed.
"Once I get the kids out of here safely, I will come back and
destroy this evil so all the others can go free too."

She peer in the hole for a moment. "Possibly an elevator
shaft... it make sense if you think about it... but why is it
pitch black... or rather... this darkness isn't natural, even
affected my lanterns!" Her fox ears twitch at the sound of
footsteps and she look around, noticing she couldn't pinpoint
the sound... "Hello? Is anyone here?" She ask through the
darkness with her back toward the hole, not sure if she should
go in there...

A small but telling nod to her first question came before the
man crossed his arms. "You needent worry much about me. I can
barely remember anything but this anymore." He smiled softly at
the determination in her eyes. "If you can rescue the
children...you will have done more than anything I have seen
before."
As she continued to look into the space, the slope of the
opening makes it clear that it is not an elevator shaft. It is
sloped like a laundry shoot...however a laundry shoot would
never need to be this large. The footsteps continue without a
specific direction. Silence answers her question to the
darkness, while the swirling mass works to swirl a bit higher up
her legs, her energy being drained faster the longer she
remained where she was.

"Hmm, why would a laundry shoot be this bi- Ahh, hey stop that!"
she tries to brush away the darkness that was crawling up to her
legs, trying to stop it from getting her energy, but she
accidentally trip as she took a step back and fall into the
hole. "AAHH!" she scream in surprise, sliding down the steep
slope.

"Well I still plan to help all of you." she smiled. "Now I need
to get the kids, I know Lily's toy is the bunny...and would
Keegans be the ball?" she said and sheathed her sword. She'd
have to go back and find it since she left it in the room she
found them in.

The man nodded softly, "Yes Keegan's precious object is his
ball, that is where is soul lies."
As she fell down the shaft the darkness remained up on that
highest floor. She landed hard against the concrete floor and
wall. The fall long enough that she had obviously fallen
several floors.

Sune rubbed her sore butt and head a bit and stood up, looking
up where she fallen from. "Ow... that a long way down... is this
the ground floor...?" she sigh in relief that the darkness
didn't follow her thought and look around her new surroundings,
her four lanterns still float around her as her tails wanes a
bit.
