Abandoned Hospital

An old brick building, this hospital likely hasn't seen a
patient in decades. Sterile white walls, echoing corridors and
peeling paint make this place a chilling location to behold.

Another day of wandering the island brought Tsukiko out to the
desolate and abandoned town. Her hood was up, covering her fac
as she quietly wandered through. Her gaze was drawn to the old
hospital. She carefully pushed the doors open and walked in,
looking around the empty waiting room and reception area a bit
of nostalgia overtook her from when she awoke in the empty
hospital she was placed in.

As the door swung shut behind her the metallic sound echo'd
through the reception area. The air still lingers with a light
scent of sterility, as white paint peels off some of the walls.
Oddly enough despite the fact that the hospital itself seems
long abandoned none of the surfaces seem covered in dust.

She walked up to the receptionist desk and dragged her finger
over the surface, taking note that it was cleaner than an
abandoned hospital should be. "I wonder if awaking here in the
darkness and forgotten time would have been better than waking
up in the light..." she mused softly.

Behind the desk there were a few papers and files scattered
around. The hallways were dark, a sense of heaviness in the
air. Her musings echo'd softly through the corridors finally
returning to her. Immediately following there is a soft, almost
inaudible murmur, the words unable to be made out.

She almost passed off the quiet murmur as her echo but it
sounded too out of place for it to have been hers. She placed a
hand on the hilt of the sword strapped to her back and began
making her way down the hall "Is....is someone here?"

As she walked down the hallway her question was left unanswered.
Only silence and the sound of her footsteps echod through the
hallway. Hospital rooms lined both sides of the hallway, though
most of the rooms were closed.

She stopped at the beginning of the hallway, looking at the
mainly closed doors she fully unsheathed her sword and began
investigating the first door on her right. As quietly as she
could she opened the door.

The door squealed as it was pushed open, the high pitch sound
echoing through the vast darkness. The sterile smells were
stronger inside the room, which appeared to be a patients room.
A few pieces of old medical equipment were scattered through the
room. The longer the room was open, the more the stench of
decay would be able to be picked up.

She lowered her sword, letting the tip touch the ground she was
surprised at how un-bothered she was with the smell of death.
Perhaps wandering around here will give me clues... she thought
and stepped fully into the room to take a look around.
