the singing willow

a willow tree unlike any others, although the look is common.
nothing else is. as the wind passes through the branches and
leaves, the willow plays a song. this place lied untouched and
undiscovered next to a beautiful creek until diggs came across
it his second year at oraion(not second school year). only a few
others have been told of this place by diggs, among them is lya,
demetri and a few others

diggs took a small hidden path etched into a large cliff. the
path opened into a secluded area on the edge of the mountains
and forest. the area was walled off and the only traverse able
path was the path, or the creek that flowed here. diggs walked
up to the weeping willow and smiled "havent been here in a few
weeks have i?" he moved aside the dangling leaves and stepped
under the shelter of the tree. diggs laid on his stomach and
opened his notebook, he planned on doing some research and work
but his mind couldn't stay off claudia and how demetri just blew
him down. a soft wind picked up and the willow began to play a
song

"So this is where you ended up. Figures." Demetri said, parting
the curtain of leaves as he stepped underneath the large willow.
He crossed his arms, absently listening to the song.

"OH DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN SAYING NO WASN'T ENOUGH TO SATISFY YOUR
BLOODLUST....NOW YOU WANNA END ME!!" diggs jumped into the tree
and climbed to the highest branch and hissed "leave me alone or
the trees going to whoop you like last time!!"

Demetri rolled his eyes "There was no last time, I merely
tripped and ended up...tangled in the branches. Trees are not
out to get me. Now then I didn't come to kill you, though it
would make me feel better, I came to talk to you idiot."

"Dia told me she gave you the impossible task of requesting my
permission to date, knowing full well I would say no. What I
didn't know is that she told you about her past before being
adopted and knowing how she said it I'm a bit skeptical. Are you
just playing a sick game with Dia or do you really want to date
her?" he asked.

sister, my only sister. Protecting her is my job as a big
brother." he sighed softly and ran a hand through his hair.
"Knowing her she probably told you she killed her parents, did
she only mention that or the full story?"
