as naito got closer, the thing scooted away farther staying out
of sight and away from his light until it just disappeared.
getting closer would show a small hole in the ceiling no bigger
than naito hand. the tunnel tha claudia discovered was dark and
unless traversed the distance could not be told

"Hm hopefully it doesn't go too far up." she mumbled, forgetting
about the others in her curiosity she began to carefully make
her way up through the tunnel.

Curious, his white wings appear from the black substances on his
back and flap once toward the small hole in ceiling, he look
peer through it with one eye for a moment to see what it lead
into as his wings kept himself in air. 'Wonder what it was...'
he though to himself as his eyes return back to normal yellows
color.

something scuttles away in the small hole, knocking lose some
dirt as naito peered inside. it was now gone. the tunnel
continued in a straight line, only slightly turning left until
it came to a fork in the road. a quick survey of the tunnel on
the left shows a little plant life growing around the walls
which were moist and humid. the right tunnel was humid also but
no plant life grew on its walls. diggs continued to check the
wall until he found a small tunnel, hidden mostly by rocks. he
notices a little plant life and smiles "i think i found it" he
mumbles and disappears into the semi hidden tunnel

Claudia looked between the two wondering which way she should go
"Well we came out here for plants so I guess the left path is
the better choice." she turned and headed through the left
tunnel.

Naito tilt his head slightly and stick his hand in after seeing
that his hand could fit in, trying to see how long the hole is.
'Whatever this thing is, it seem small enough to go through this
hole... wonder what it is though...'

as far as he could feel the tunnel continued onward for some
distance. the tunnel claudia chose continued straight forward.
the plant life not lessening nor getting heavier. the tunnel
continued util it opened to another cavern with stalagmites and
stalagtites. the sound of squirming could be heard all around
her.

Naito frown slightly, finding nothing, he pulled his hand out
and floated back down onto the stone floor as his wings
dissolved back into black substances into his back as he look
around again, double checking after noticing both digg and
Claudia weren't here. "...Where is everyone?" he ask softly to
no one in particular.

She looked around, not liking the sound she was hearing "I
should've brought Siri with me." she mumbled and ran a hand over
one of the stalagmites.

a large boom shakes the caverns around claudia and naito. the
boom causes something to fall over claudia and knock her to the
floor. she was now covered and swimming in maggots. the faint
light from her glow showed dead animals and carcasses in the
overflow of maggots "GAAAAAAAAAAH!!" came an echoing scream
through the tunnels. it was the voice of diggs. naito would only
see the tunnel that claudia had went down that lead to the fork
in the road
