The forest was dead quite, not a single animal could be heard.
Which in its self was strange for this forest that was always
loud with the sound of animals. Almost as if the animals had
known that something came and was not to be angered. The smell
of rotting flesh hung in the air. Parts of bodies of women ,
men and even chlidren laid on the ground , half eaten and
covered in saliva. A monster had attack. The only light was from
the moon that hung high in the sky, not a single cloud dared
block its light.

kenro walked through the forest, he was graphing the land and
adding it into his ship the vapor galleys system. he stopped,
curious to why it was so silent, especially for a forest so big.
kenro shook the thoughts free and continued to walk until he
caught the stench of rotting flesh. the smell hit him so hard he
almost buckled.

As kenro buckled, he could hear sreacms a little begging for her
life. But a roar filled the and the girl screams stops. The
silence was differnet now, kenro knew something was out there.
The ground shake and the sound of something being drag could be
heard not to far from where kenro was.

Lya had stumbled to this island looking for a few herbs. Having
stepped out of a shadow portal she began to look for the herbs
she wanted to study. Wistling softly she thought she smelled
something she shouldn't, could she smell blood? Her blood
turned to ice at the sound of the scream.

kenro had heard the whistling and while crouched he made his way
over. surprised to see lya he put a finger to his lips telling
her to stay quiet. kenro turned and pointed toward the sound of
the dragging. he wanted to help whoever produced that scream but
once the silence came back he knew it was too late

A trail of blood lead deeper into forest. They could see hoove
prints next to the trail of blood. There was a path cleared and
worn out, as if the beast walked this path thousand times. Every
so often there would be a gold coin down the path.

Jumping softly as Kenro approached her, she got the hint quite
quickly and stopped whistling. Looking deeper into the forest
she took in the trail. Quickly taking note of what she saw she
looked at Kenro.

kenro looked at the worn trail and back to lya, with a nod he
pulled out a dagger and a few small pellets. kenro continued
down the trail. noticing the coin he picked it up and continued
to walk, he noticed another. he picked up the coins as he went
along

A faint light could be seen down the path, as they followed it
the light became brighter. kenro tripped over something. lya
could feeling something slowly climd up for legs.

As they went down the path Lya focused on the light ahead of
them as Kenro picked up the coins. One of the dagger dropping
into her hand she kept her guard up. As she felt something
snake around her legs she looked down quickly to see what it
was.
