Lya closed her eyes for a moment in thought. "What brought me
to this island?" She paused for a moment. "Well my family
was strongly rooted in the magical arts. However when I was 12,
my family was killed in a fire. So after years of bouncing
around orphanages, I wanted to come here to get back to my
roots, and work to better understand my skills."

She gave him a soft smile and tucked a lock of hair behind her
ear. "Thank you. I have come to terms with it for the most
part." She leaned back and looked around. "I really do like it
here. It's been a great learning experience here. I've grown
to love it."

"Its really a good place. I think its a great place to learn
and come into our own. There are some nice people here too."

were more nice people around than just me." She ran her hand
through her black locks. "Well I don't think that I will be
changing my demeanor anytime soon."
