mr quentin looked at her confused "i....can see what i can do?"
diggs grabbed the item and put it in his satchel and jumped out
the window. hopping from roof to roof he made his way to the
city entrance. mr quentin walked to the window " DONT EAT THE
CAPSULE UNTIL YOU'RE JUST ABOUT TO LEAVE THE CITY!" mr quentin
sighed and looked back at claudia "i really will see what i can
do"

She put her hoodie on and let her wings appear "See that you do.
I can get very creative when things don't go my way." she said,
hopping out the window she flew after Diggs.

diggs jumped from the roof and landed at the entrance to the
city. he takes a deep breath and stretches "i'll have to run at
full speed at all times which means..." diggs could see figures
in the dark winds looking at him and flying around "which means
i won't deal with them unless they get in they way directly"
diggs sighed and went through his satchel

Claudia landed down beside him "This should be fun, and I get
something out of it." she said happily and looked out at the
winds. "Now then what's the plan?" she asked.

"its simple...run and dont stop. i take it you'll be flying?"
diggs wrapped a rope around him and walked over to claudia
standing mere inches away "the winds will be strong and i dont
need you floating away "diggs smiled and wrapped his arms around
her waist "will you be able to take care of any stragglers that
i can't get too?" only showing afterwards that he was just tying
the rope around her waist

About to answer she blushed when his arms came around her, but
seeing the rope the blush turned to one of anger. "I am not a
kite." she mumbled and crossed her arms. "Yeah it shouldn't be
too hard." she said and flew up into the air.

diggs smiled and his skin covered in amber scales "lets go then"
diggs got on all fours and faced the entrance of the city. a
small bundle of figures formed at the entrance. diggs growled
and tossed the capsule into his mouth and waited for claudia to
do the same

She swallowed the capsule. "Ready when you are." she said,
summoning her shadows into a black orb in front of her. The orb
broke apart into several smaller spiked orbs that floated around
her.

diggs roared and jolted through the barrier. the feel of the
pressure from the wind could be felt instantly but diggs pressed
on his scaled hands and feet pressing into the dry burnt soil of
the desolate plains. the wind creatures seemed startled but soon
gave chase

She blinked in surprise. "Well I guess the rope was needed after
all." she muttered, knowing by the end of this her wings would
be sore. She shook her head, instead focusing on defense, she
sent half the spiked orbs to circle around Diggs. She pulled
out her daggers, knowing her own momvements would be limited due
to the rope.
