zero stood in the mansion yard kicking a fireball in the air
like a soccer ball "man i'm bored" nathan lays in the grass
looking at the blue sky dreamily "everydays not always going to
be exciting zero buddy" zero shrugged and kicked the fireball
into the sky "yeah i guess your right....but still....you KNOW i
got energy to spare" nathan sighed and tilted his head back to
look at him "but nobody needs any to borrow if you know what i
mean" zero grabbed his face and fell back in the grass and began
to flail comically "BUT I WANNA DO SOMETHING!!"

A small black dragon with a few intermixed blood colored scales
sat in one of the trees watching the two. Almost appearing to
smile its tail flicked back and forth.

The little red and black dragon jumped slightly at the sound of
another voice. Laughing sheepishly she pawed at her ear.
"Maybe i was doing a bit of watching."

"its quite alright my dear. i do a bit of watching form time to
time. especially when i'm watching family" the dragon looked at
her with a wagging tail. zero jumped rolled over to and over
nathan who flailed and wriggled under him

The black and crimson tail wagged softly as well and she nodded
softly. "It's nice to be able too. I do miss family most of
the year."

"its rare to see more than one family member here and
there....to see so many at a time for me is wonderful" the
dragon looked at nathan as he finally got the edge on zero and
flipped over on top of him putting him in a head lock "you kids
should enjoy the times you have.....you never know what the
future brings....and who you'll lose"

The little multitonal dragon smiled lightly her tail curling
around her. "Its definitely nice to see family whenever
possible." She giggled softly as Zero and Nathan wrestled. She
nodded a little somberly at his last comment, her own families
experiences tinging her thoughts on the future and loss. "That
definitely is good advice. I certainly want to be able to have
as many experiences with those I love to make sure that I don't
lose too much.....if something happens. I don't want to
regret....or have someone regret anything about me."

the black dragon nodded "well i must be off little one, nice
chatting with you" the dragon hopped out the tree and before
hitting the ground turned into principal kyo who smiled up at
her and walked away. zero flipped nathan off his back and ran
around the yard. nathan got up and chased him "IM GONNA BITE
THREW YOUR JUGULAR DRAGON BOY!!" nathan screamed "BUT WHY I
THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!!" zero continued running around the
yard with nathan chasing him
