sliver around a purple stone, he picked it up." What is this

Demetri set down Claudias stone and a few weapons and took the
stone from Garfield to examine it "Looks to be Amethyst...hmm
now what weapon could fit with you." he said and rummaged
through the box. "Dia go ahead and look through the weapons I
picked out, one of them should suit your stone. Sadly no daggers
so don't ask."

She looked over them, frowning when she saw no daggers were
picked out. "What were the properties of Tigers Eye again. I
remember a few but better you tell me so I can pick out what
would fit best."

Demetri went over to his notebook and scanned through it
thoughtfully. "Hmm Amethyst properties...links the human and
spiritual selves, good for controlling addictions and impulses
and promotes inner peace and healing." he said and wrote down a
few notes. "Perhaps I can adjust my notes for it to be fused
within a bracelet, instead of being added to a weapon."

learn if I want to take over my mothers company. There should be
some bracelets out on the shelves somewhere. If you want you can
go take a look at some of them while I work on my sisters
stone."
