She walked over to him still smiling, she glanced to see that
Demetri was still busy and looked back to Garfield "Well Gar,
I'll say this. I'm not a very nice person, and my big brother is
somewhat of an idiot when it comes to people like you. So I've
got my eye on you." she turned away "Okay Metri hurry it, I
wanna get this finished before nightfall." arms crossed in
annoyance. "Which one are we doing first?"

Demetri finished buttoning his blue lab coat and grabbed his

He took out the bag of gems and poured them out on the table
"You two go through these and find one that carries an affinity
to you." he said and went back to sorting through the box.

She nodded and went over to the table. "Just let a bit of power
out and it will naturally seek out the stone that best fits."
she said to Garfield as her eyes fell shut. A sliver of darkness
began to curl around her wrist, she held her hand over the gems
and the darkness uncurled and began flaoting down to the table.
She allowed it to snake its way across the table, stopping
around some of the stones before moving away until it stopped
and curled itself around a golden brown stone. She reached down
and picked it up, she opened her eyes and looked at the stone
"Tigers Eye for me Metri." she said.

He took the stone from her, examining it and picking up various
weapons to hold against it. "Not this...maybe that but perhaps
not. A typical dagger won't carry a proper note for it." he
muttered thoughtfully.
