       Learning A Lesson (Open, Nightfall, 11/23,)

       Gregor was nose deep in books. A sort of outlet for him. When
       something was wrong, he dug his nose into books.  And something
       was definitely wrong. Damn near every time he'd seen Ely since
       he got back, they'd end up arguing. It was starting to get to
       him. No more arguing.
       He'd just go back to being a mute. That sounded like a good idea
       at the moment. It wouldn't really mean anything, since he rarely
       talked anyway. He nodded to himself. A new resolve. No talking
       unless needed.
       The shifter sighed to himself and closed his book. He adjusted
       his glasses and stared at the ceiling, unsure of what he was
       feeling right now. His stomach was stirring lightly. It had
       seemed, lately, that he had been on his own, much like the last
       four years. That sense of loneliness, he didn't like it, but he
       had to live with it. So much had changed. People, feelings,
       everything. With another sigh, he shook his head and went back
       to the ceiling, closing his eyes gently.
