Star gazing [Midnight, open, clear]

Mika sat in the sand. The soft cold breeze circling around her.
She was staring up at the stars although she wasn't really
focused on them. Her mind was wandering, through everything she
had been through lately. One encounter in particular weighing
heavily on her mind. Her dark fethers rustled softly and the
moonlight glinted off her hair. The grey in her eyes was cloudy
as she thought. She almost wished she had her violin to drown
out her thoughts but she couldn't bring herself to play.
Instead she sat with her toes in the cold sand.

Yukio was looking for Artemis, when he heard loud thoughts. He
turned to Mika, finally finding the source of the thoughts.
"Don't let it get to you. Keep strong. It gets better." She
heard in her head.

Mika's head popped up softly hearing thevoice in her head. Her
eyes scanned around looking for the source. She sighed lightly,
[I]"I know. I keep telling myself that. Its just hard."[/I].
She wrapped her arms around her knees. She tried to keep the
thoughts from swirling, but Yamato had brought everything back
to the forefront, and thrown salt into the wounds just because
he could.

She nodded weakly hearing his words. Could he really come back?
Had she driven him to the choices he made after the fact. He
had turned to the people trying to hurt the school, had she been
the only thing keeping him from that. She sighed deeply, but
smiled softly. [Color=thistle][I]"I'll do my best to keep my
thoughts optimistic. I can't let myself question things too
much. It just makes my head hurt at this point."

He said, smiling. There was a sense of seriousness in his words.

A light smile crept across her lips. Everything had just gotten
so confusing that there were very few things she currently
didn't question. Although one of those was confusing in itself,
but that was something between her and one other. She gave
Yukio a look of gratitude. [Color=thistle][I]"thank you Yukio.
I believe you, I really do. Its been so hard to talk to anyone
outside the few who knew...even normal conversation. I just
couldn't face the possibility of someone asking....

She smiled an almost relieved smile. [Color=thistle][I]"I may
likely take you up on that. Although I'm sorry if my scattered
racing mind is too loud at times."[/I][/color]. She apologized
and half joked at her own expense.
