Quiet wanderings [afternoon, closed]

Mika walked quietly through the woods. The chilling breeze
rustling her feathers, and making her very glad for the thick
black coat she wore. Her hair was pulled back loosely from her
face. The end of fall almost winter trees seemed fitting for
her mood once again. She sighed deeply and looked to the sky
letting her mind wander as aimlessly as she was.

Red eyes watched Mika as she walked thought the woods, she could
feel the eyes on but he could not be seen."Your really somehting

Mika shivered feeling the eyes watching her. Spinning quickly
looking for the owner of the voice. Her breath catching lightly
unable to locate him. "What is that supposed to mean?" She
asked quickly, a slight edge falling into her tone.

Grey eyes fell harshly on his red ones. Wings twitched in sheer
aggravation. "How do you know anything about this! He wasn't
supposed to feel that way." She fell quiet, shaking slightly.
"I never wanted to hurt him, but knowing what I did..." She
glared back up at Yamato.

Mika clenched her fists tightly. Shaking with anger,
bitterness, and sorrow. Hating herself again. "Do you really
think I woke up one morning and thought, How can I screw over
Shinji today? How can I make him go through more pain than I
can possibly imagine? Do you think that doing what I did didn't
shake me to the very core of my being? What do you know of
anything i've done?" She spit the words at him like acid.
Those normally caring grey eyes of her dull, lifeless, and
harsh.

She fell quiet staring at him. She shouldn't have expected any
other response from him, but clearly the wounds were closer to
the surface that she was trying to show. Eyeing the briefcase
cautiously she picked it up. [I]"From your father?"[/I] she
whispered slowly opening it.
