Mika watched Kaya intently as began to tell the story. Her
hands folded as neatly in her lap as her wings were against her
back. As the story unfolded, she knew she was unable to hide
her reaction from her face. Haro had killed Miles and the
child, because he wouldn't believe in the one he loved? She had
held Miles as he died, but he had been offered to go to another
timeline, to be with her.
As the story finished she sat in silence for a few moments
taking it all in. The differences in Kaya she could understand.
To have gone through that, to know all this. It was hard to
fathom, but she had no doubt in Kaya's words. She felt a bit of
a sting for having made her reopen that wound. She could
understand how deep this likely was, and she would offer any
support she could offer through friendship.
Taking a light breath Mika met Kaya's eyes again. "I am truly
glad that you are both back, and I am sorry that you both had to
go through that." A quiet honesty filled her words. Her words
were truly genuine. "I do believe he is still around, I haven't
seen him as of late. However I have no reason to believe he is
gone." A deep sigh, and her shoulder's fell slightly.

As Mika spoke , he squeezed his wife's hand gently. He knew
Haro, and he knew that if he ever showed up, that things
couldn't go well. And the same would go for Noonie. His eyes
feel on Mika, and he took a deep breath.
"By the time that I was killed, things were so bad, but there
was a glimmer of hope. It all started at the abandoned hospital,
where I met a girl named Charlotte. She looked just like Kaya,
but with my eyes. Little did I know, that dream was a major
foreshadow of what was to come. The little girl led me to my
death, where I was... Brutally murdered. Much like here. Kaya
and I were arguing, and after I left , I immediately went to go
see Kaya. Little did I know, that she was there. After I died.
Turns out, it was all a dream, but after that, I saw her three
times after that. I don't know how, but Kaya knew whenever I
would come. The first time, We went for ice cream. The second
time, we planted flowers for mommy. Three third time,I actually
saw her, and she told me something important. She told me that
time didn't matter. By that time, I was so used to things, that
I didn't want to leave, but all dreams end. When I died, I
already knew my choice, and I had to tell Kaya that she was gong
to be there. She cried. Then, I left, to awake next to the love
of my life, on our daughter's fourth birthday." He said, a few
tears falling from his face.

She listened in silence again as Miles told his part of the
story. Letting all the words seep in and swirl around in her
mind. Once again the angel in her made it hard to keep what she
was feeling from reading across her face. He had seen his
death, led by a little girl named Charlotte. They had both been
through so much. Time didn't matter, they had overcome and
ended up together with a beautiful daughter. She wanted to hug
Miles as she saw the tears.
A deep breath was taken before she started to speak again. "I
can't even begin to imagine what going through this has been
like, for either of you. I'm glad that you ended up with what
you have though." To have gone through all that to, and to end
up with each other, it struck a chord with her. They both
deserved this, to be happy.
Her gaze settled on Miles, as she spoke softly. "I'm glad that
you got to be with the love of your life. I can imagine how
happy that must have made you." She smiled softly at the two.
They had told her this whole story, something that had to be
hard to speak of. There was little she could say, that could
truly match the feelings the story invoked, but she would gladly
be there in friendship for anything she could.

The little spider smiled and gave Mika a reassuring nod. He
really was happy, and now, he was home.
"Than you, Mika. You always were a good friend to Kaya. She's
lucky to have a friend like you."

A soft smile and a light blush tinged her cheeks. She had never
thought growing up as she had, she would have ever had friends,
let alone have someone tell her someone was lucky to have her as
a friend. Her soft gaze fell on Miles and Kaya. "I'm just glad
that you are both here. I'll gladly be here for anything you
could need me for." She looked down for a moment, "I'm glad to
have more people I can talk to again."
