im fine...for now at least. "jasper let go of her, moving back a
little" i hurt you didn't i? i could feel the bruise on your
back......im sorry. the memories are getting worse and more real

Mika sighed softly, "You didn't mean to hurt me, and I could
have been more careful. Don't worry about it, it's not bad."
She squeezed his hands lightly, leading them to sit on a nearby
log. "They are getting worse? Talk to me Jasper." She turned
those grey caring eyes on him, her most comforting looks. She
hated it when Jasper was hurting. He had done so much for her.
Her choice had led her to be further from him, but she wanted to
be there to help him through anything.

"jasper followed and sat beside her" its..... how can i say it
"jasper sighed" its me..... i am fighting with myself. the
memories have been coming even when im woke. if something
reminds me of the past, i slip off into a memory....... "jaspers
eyes lowered onto the ground" thats why i've been here. where no
one can see me like this

Mika wrapped her arm and wing around him in a comforting
gesture. Her heart dropped a bit when he said he was hiding
from the world to keep this from everyone. "But you're not him
anymore. If you stay here by yourself, what helps bring you
back from the memories. I don't like you being tormented by
your past." She bit her lip lightly. "No one should have to be
so fearful of their past, of what they used to be. You know you
can always talk to me right. It doesn't matter what is going
on. I care about you. I worry when you're hurting."

"jasper was comforted by mikas presence" although i should've
helped... i fled when the attacks started on the island. the
memories were striking left and right and i couldn't begin to
tell the difference between the memories and the real world
"jasper looked into her eyes. after being tormented by the
reoccurring memories they didnt shine with the usual brilliance
they once had."

Mika shook her head. "Don't worry about the attacks on the
Island, I'd rather try and make sure that you are okay." She
stared back into his eyes, noticing the change. Only making her
worry grow, she scratched his head lightly. "I could tell that
the line is blurred now, considering it took me several attempts
to convince you that I was here and okay." She sighed lightly,
her eyes swirling with concern.

Mika smiled lightly as he purred. It had been so long since she
had been able to sit somewhere with him like this. It had been
since before she had left on her journey. Shaking the thoughts
from her head, she kept scratching his head, enjoying his
company.

She returned his smile weakly. "Trying to sort life out again.
Everything is so different, I've mostly been keeping to myself,
only really spending time with a few people. I had trouble
getting my feet back under me." She knew she couldn't just
brush off what had happened with Jasper. She didn't really want
to talk about it, but she would talk with him.
