Regrouping and Becoming a Problem (After Protecting the Pack)
By: Gregor Nye Date: October 3, 2012, 9:28 pm

Gre sat on the beach, holding his sides. He was bleeding
slightly, mostly from saving Elliot from the building that he
collapsed. He looked at the ocean and let out a howl of pain.

Elliot ran up to Gregor panting after running for so long.
"Thanks... for saving... me... are you... okay... Gregs?" He
stammered out once he'd caught his breath.

The No Moon kicked up sand as she skidded to a stop. She'd made
sure Jess had gotten clear of it all before she took off with
that speed of hers. Her eyes looked over Elliot before she took
to examining Gregor. "Lay back, please. How much trouble are you
having breathing, Gre?" She asked him, her head already falling
to his chest lightly, listening to the sounds of his respiration
on both sides.
She reached into air, and came from it with bandages. She sets
them in her lap, probing his sides with gentle but knowledgeable
fingers, counting the fractured ribs. Both sides, four in all.
She shook her head slightly. "You are going to be one pathetic
puppy, Gre." She looked behind her, at Elliot. "You. How are you
doin', sugar?" She'd triaged, obviously, but wasn't sure for
herself that he didn't have any wounds at all.

Gre winced slightly as he leaned back into the sand.
"Ely.. I'm fine. I'm fine. I promise!!" He didn't like admiting
that he was hurt, and he didn't like when he had to admit
anything, really.

Elliot blinked as though snapping out of a daze when Lya
addressed him and begin to pat himself down for wounds. It
wasn't long before he jumped and hissed in pain from the
stinging burns covering his body. The wounds were surprisingly
light, but they still stung all the same now that the teen's
adrenaline had died down.
"Ugh! I'm a little toasted but I'll be okay," Elliot said
frowning at his wounds. The small, stinging ones were always
worse than the ones that actually hurt to him. He then began to
blow on one on his arm as though it would help ease the pain.

Ely reached again into thin air, and came back with a salve in
her hand, having paused in wrapping Gregor's ribs. "Here, put
that on the burns, sugar. It'll cool them off real quick." It's
an aloe and eucalyptus salve. Once put on the burns, it very
quickly lessened the burns. They didn't sting, and it seems it
sped the healing tenfold.
She looked back down at Gregor, and narrowed her eyes at him,
hands still working with their quiet efficiency. "Oh, hush. You
know I hate it when you do that." What, Gregor understands
completely. That silly verbal shorthand of theirs. She ignored
her own wounds for the moment.

Jess had made her way to the beach slower than the others. She
had a few noticeable cuts and scrapes, and she was limping from
her landing on the pavement. She approached silently, glad to
see everyone okay. She sat down quietly.

Elliot blinked before smiling a bit when he was handed the
salve. "Thanks Lya," he said and then quickly pulled off his
shirts so they wouldn't be in the way as he applied the salves.
The body underneath the teen's clothing seemed delicate like a
females, yet still powerful, like the man that he was. Small
scars covered his frame in memory of much more serious injuries
he had received in the past. Though they were very light, almost
unnoticeable now due to his somewhat heightened healing
abilities, they were still a testament to how much the boy
fought as the only reasons that they never truly healed was
because they never had the time to before the next fight would
rip them open again and Aqua would give up on them once they
were no longer life threatening or debilitating. Though one
wouldn't really be able to tell that at a glance unless they
really knew the boy.
The teen then began to apply the salve to all of the burns he
could reach slowly growing more and more relaxed with every
wound he treated. "This stuff is niiiiice," he sighed blissfully
as he applied the salve to yet another burn. He then looked over
his shoulder and blinked at Jessica as she quietly limped
towards the group.
"... Jess?" He asked in surprise; she looked worst than he
thought. The teen suddenly felt a pang of regret from not
stopping to help his cousin as they made their escape. "How
unmanly... you fail Elliot," he thought to himself. After a
moment, the teen stood up and walked over to Jess to offer his
help thinking it was better late than never.

After his woulds were treated, he ran to Jess, helping her over
to Ely. After she was being treated, he walked to Elliot,
growling. He looked at the boy, then punched him square in the
face.
"That, was for putting all of our lives in danger. And, for not
telling me about Ely sooner." He said, walking away. Yeah, he
had picked up on his feelings a while ago.

Ely checked over Jess, wincing at the bruises and lacerations.
She pulled another salve from her unseen bag, treating the
contusions and cuts swiftly yet gently. She listened to Jess'
breathing, and checked over her bones. "Everything all right? No
broken bones or anything?" She asked, checking the other
shifter's pupils.
Gre stood, and Ely almost told him to sit back down and save his
ribs. The punch thrown made Ely blink, shooting to her feet.
Gregor had his reasons. The first she understood, but the
second... Tell him about her? What about her?
She gazed at Gregor's retreating back, and looked at Elliot, her
face blank. "Tell him what about me?" She asked, clearly
prepared to dig in, if she had to.
