Re: A "Family" Reunion ( 10/25, closed-ish, noon-ish)

Gregor looked at Elliott. "Elliott, calm yourself. It's my fault
that she flipped out like that. Sorry." he said, finally getting
up to hug his sister.

Elliot blinked at his cousin, but sighed straightening his
stance as his yellow aura faded. "No, whatever happened, it
seemed to be my fault. I'm sorry for that... it's just--" he
stopped abruptly and blinked before looking down at his left
hand which was still charged with the x7 energy and sighing.
"Crap, I'm gonna haveta use this now... um, I'm gonna find
somewhere I can use this that will minimize damage to anywhere
important. I'll catch you guys later! Elliot then runs off
holding his super-charged left hand while being careful NOT to
let it touch anything.

Jess looked at Elliot with a soft smile, "Oh you know me. I've
been here watching for a while." She shook her head lightly.
She had always had a habit of watching situations before
entering into them. Gave her it was the Gibbous moon in her.
She sighed lightly watching him run off to rid the energy from
his hand.
Quickly she turned to her little brother and pulled him into a
tight hug. She was silent for a moment as she hugged him. When
she finally released him she looked him over, "It's been far too
long."

Gregor smiled at his sister.
"It has been. I assume everything is okay. How is the pack?"

Elyana flashed a smile at her best friend. "Jess, it has been a
bit too long. And I'm not complaining at all. Seems there are a
lot of people following him around. How about you?" She didn't
feel the need to explain herself to the pup. She'd been nicer
when they were younger about reminding him that she hated it.
But now? She didn't play. That name had too much meaning.
Like the No Moon she was, she fell to listening and watching.
She'd talk to the kid later. He had gotten stronger at the very
least.

Jess smiled at the both of them. She addresed Lya first. "We
shall have to make sure so much time does not pass between
visits next time. I have also been as well as can be desired.
Handling things as they arise."
She turned back to her brother, her smile falling a bit at his
question. "The pack has been faring alright. However
mother..."
She paused for a moment looking down, "Mother is no longer
with us."

Gregor was smiling at Jess and Ely. The old group was back
together. When she looked at him, his smile wavered with hers.
He knew something was wrong. Then it hit him. She was gone. He
didn't say anything. He was waiting for the information to
register.
His eyes got blurry, and the faint smell of salt can be picked
up. He shakes his head, as if he had a headache. He sat down,
shaking his head. The information mentioned above hit him full
force as a tear dropped, followed by another, followed by many
more. Silent tears.
"...When did she? How did she?" He asked, confused and
irritated. A low growl can be heard.

A certain amount of shock kept her from reacting immediately.
From saying anything. She could only blink, until her nose
caught the smell of salt. Her mate stumbled back to lean against
the tree, and she moved to his side, kneeling beside him.
One of her hands lifted, automatically comforting him, fingers
combing through his hair. She settled a look on Jessica that
said, very clearly, Bit coldhearted of you. Goddess above. She
huffed slightly, curling against Gregor in a similar fashion to
the animal they had been born as.

Jess ran looked at him and sat down near the two of them,
sinking to a lower level than them. She didn't want to impose
on Lya comforting him. She had been the ones less than subtle
about the whole situation. She was sorry that she had been so
cold and direct. She deserved the look Lya gave her, she should
have tried to be less direct, but she was struggling with this.
She was clearly still having trouble coming to terms with the
whole situation.
Slowly, quietly she attempted to answer his questions. "I'm so
sorry Gregor. I never wanted to have to tell you that. I'm
sorry it was so blunt." She looked down obviously distraught.
"It wasn't that long ago, a few months. The details are still a
bit unclear, its part of why I'm away right now. I wasn't just
following you."
She bit her lower lip lightly as she prepared to share what she
knew. "She had gone out hunting one day. It took her longer
than usual to come back, and I got really worried. I went out
looking for her but I couldn't find her. It was hard to follow
her scent, it was like it was masked or gone. I looked all
night and couldn't find her." She shook her head shaking
slightly. "The next morning half the pack was out looking for
her. I....I finally found her." She fell quiet the image of
being the one to find their mother still burning brightly in her
mind. She looked up at her brother, and her best friend and
whispered, "I'm sorry."

Gregor looked at Jess and smiled. He kissed her cheek and stood.
"Cheer up, big sis. It'll get better, i promise. I'll find
whoever did this. I swear on it."
