Reflections and Hiding [10/27, sunset, open]

Mika faded in from a shadow at the top of the mountain. She
still felt most relaxed here. She just needed to be somewhere
that she felt safe, somewhere that wasn't a constant reminder.
She sat on a boulder running her finger over indent on her left
ring finger. With a sigh she looked out at the setting sun,
surveying the mountain and the island. She stretched her wings
and ran her fingers through her hair. She leaded back against
the rocks just watching the world, trying to block out thought.

The voice reached Mika's ears and dragged her from her thoughts.
A look of panic and utter pain crosses her face. She quickly
jumped up off the boulder her instincts screaming at her to run.
She knew at some point she was going to run into him again, but
now. Right now? How could she look at him after what she had
done. She moved quietly back behind a boulder contemplating
escaping in a shadow. Her mind racing as she attempted to bring
some sort of composure back to herself.

Mika's heart stopped when he called her name. She thought she
could do handle when he eventually ran into her. But knowing
the gravity of what she had done made her blood run cold. His
voice hurt. Knowing he didn't remember anything was like a
dagger peircing her.
It was soo soon since she had gotten back. Why had someone
brought him looking for her so soon? With an aching heart she
wasn't sure she could even attempt to face him. To look at the
face that used to be filled with so much love. She quietly
moved from her spot behind the boulder looking for the quickest
way to escape.

was apart of him so he sighed and yelled* I KNOW YOUR HERE JUST
COME OUT!!!*it was a shot in the dark but he knew something or
someone was out there.*

Mika stopped moving for a minute, of course he would have an
idea that she was out here. Everyone kept telling her that she
was stronger than she thought she was right. Maybe she could
face this, say hello, perpetuate what had become reality. She
could say hello, introduce herself, insist that she had never
met him before. Put him at ease, let him live his life, free
from her.
She held her left hand behind her and turned back towards his
direction. Catching sight of his face from behind the boulder
which she hid behind hit her hard. Everyone was wrong, she
wasn't strong enough, not for this. She stumbled back and
surrounded herself with shadows, hoping it would hide her. She
didn't have the energy or mental fortitude to move anymore. She
tried to collect herself to allow herself to escape.

*Shinji ran his fingers though his hair that something was
around here was still there, it was like a part of him was
screaming at him which way to go, but he had no idea where it
came from so he did not follow it.*...just come out and talked
to me ....
