"..." haro looked at her, still arms around her, still tears in
his eyes, attempting to understand all that had been put before
him. in the end he was silent. not knowing what to say.. what to
ask first... when did all this... how... fates?... when did her
mother... and how did that fix his memory? even his mind could
only babble trying to understand all this at once.

The babble was less dizzying now, so it was easier to answer.
"While you were away working is when. It tugged at the magicks
that I had used tobe around my mother and I. Siren magick gets
stronger with the more there are. It's why you don't find many
by themselves." She took a breath, trying to straighten her
       thoughts.
"Yes, the Fates. The Morai. Three goddesses that control the
Loom of Life. I have little way to be able to explain them for
you. To simply only say Past, Present, Future doesn't make the
point. They literally weave the lives of all mortals, and even
the gods. They didn't wish to see me be promiscuous as Mama has
been. They made sure it wouldn't happen." She answered the
questions she could. How was purely beyond her.

and so it leads to more questions. but words came forth easier
than before. "i... missed alot." he said with a sigh. "so
then... these fates... they like... they know the future? or...
i dont understand..." they were a key factor. he wanted to know
more of them to understand this as a whole.

Kaya frowned, a line appearing between her brows. "Clotho spins
the thread, creating a mortal life. Lachesis weaves the
tapestry, combining various threads, weaving them together in
the events of life. The day to day life you know, the memorable
moments that make up someone's mortal experience, she places
them for you." Kaya's hands moved, as if illustrating this.
She took a breath, winding her way to the Fate she had most to
fear from. Not for herself, but for the others she loved so
dearly. "Then there's Atropos. She wields her silver shears.
Once a life is fully measured and fully oven, she severs it,
uneaving that tapestry to return the material back to Clotho.
They don't just know the future. They're responsible for it."
She finished, looking at him. The gravity in her eyes left
little doubt that she was as serious as a heart attack.

"..." haros abit dumbfounded. nothing seemed to suprise him
anymore but this... he hated the idea. beings with such power
over you... this is why before he met her, he didnt believe in
the gods... its a horid thought that everything is fated...
       predestined... plans by someone else...

Her eyes fell to the sand in front of her. She stood, walking
silently to the edge of the water, letting it lap at her feet.
The night sky turned the water dark, the stars like diamonds on
the surface. Much of it was blurry to the little goddess.
Another thing that she felt apologetic about. She'd dragged him
into all of this, plopped him down on a proverbial Olympus, and
expected him to come to terms with it. Faced him with the
existence of the immortal, and thought that a mortal could deal.
She walked further into the ocean. Tonight it's call was strong.
Comfort, solace, peace. The waves, their music. Without much
thought, she disappeared into the next wave, diving gracefully
beneath it's surface. She started stroking strongly, cutting
       through the ocean with ease.
To Haro's eyes, she's utterly disappeared. The last feeling he
got was not a small echo of pain, anguish, sorrow. The last
words were, quite simply, I'm sorry.

that cleared his mind of all other things. that pain struck his
heart like a blade. a tear once more came from him. he held his
heart for a moment, but wasnt still. he quickly rose to his
feet, running to the water as if to chase her. he still held the
ring... it brought more tears that it was still in his hand...
at the waters edge he sank to his knees... he held it to his
heart... he muttered one thing. "please come back..."

Like a tune stuck in her head, familiar lyrics played again and
again, over the sound of the surf, the call of peace. You made a
mistake on the day that you met me and lost your way. You saw
all the signs, but you let it go. You closed your eyes. I
should've told you to leave, cuz I knew all the time, you
       couldn't handle me.
She could see him, feel him, hear him. He wanted her to come
back. Why? She just seemed to keep hurting him, so much so
because of what she was. But you're hard to resist when you're
       on your knees, begging me.
Without even her on awareness, she had turned, stroking her way
back to shore. She rose from the water, moving blind. A jumble
of music played in her head. Leaving the perfume of all that you
adore to die nameless on my floor. Don't you get it dear? You're
not the only one who runs on instincts, I've got instincts of my
own. What would you die for? Swallow your pride for?
She came to her knees in front of him. She was silent, crying,
her head ringing. But desire never leaves. I could fight this to
the end, but maybe, I don't wanna win. I breathe you in again
just to feel you underneath my skin. Holding onto this sweet
escape. I don't wanna be saved. I don't wanna be sober. I want
       you on my mind.
With a sort of blind desperation, she reached out, gathering him
closer, crawling into his lap. Until your rapture falls to
pieces, find in me the room to breathe. Simple things, like
suffering. She's muttering two words over and over, "I'm sorry,
       I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

as she arived, he took her in his arms once more, crying.
"teishi tehshi teishi teishi!" he answered "what could you have
       to appologize for?"

All that pain and sorrow is still radiating through her, as he
can feel it. It stole breath to feel it. "Because everything
about what I am keeps hurting you. Before me, the gods didn't
mettle with you. They let you be. You didn't love a creature
that caused you so much pain. You never had reason to mistrust
or get jealous." She said, voice small.
"I'm toxic. Everything I touch, I break." He lifted her hand,
placing the ring back on her finger. There was little to nothing
to say. But instinct was calling for action. The pain needed to
find an outlet, something to make it quiet.
The siren's mouth crashed to his. From there, sharpened talons
shredded clothing, drawing blood slightly, that lips of either
caught from skin, an equal sharing of blood between them. Teeth
were employed, hands everywhere. It was fast, desperate,
bordering on the violent at times.
Connection sought and made, murmured words, none really said in
English. The end was a timeless and primitive thing. The couple
made their way to the cave, where they slept. Neither slept
restfully, and one little goddess dreamed of suffering and
       blood.
